The new version of All creatures great and small, which features Diana among the cast, gets it's premier on Channel 5 Tues 1st Sept at 9pm. A six-episode series and a Christmas special were filmed in 2019 and also in early 2020. At last, something worth watching! Can't wait.

Many thanks for information, Rich, delightful news, it turns out that the premiere of the series is already on the doorstep. I assumed they would show it after the Black Narcissus with Diana.

I'm looking forward to it too - in Russia it is now standard practice to transmit episodes of British TV series in Russian multi voice-over acting the next day after their premiere in the UK. Wink

Diana's 1969 film The Assassination Bureau will be shown on the Talking pictures channel next Thurs 1st Oct at 10pm. I've had this film on dvd for a few years now. It's great fun, and I reckon it's her 3rd best movie behind OHMSS and Theatre of blood. I'm sure you've all seen this one before Exclamation

I saw it for the first time only this year and loved it. It's great entertainment, Diana is adorable, and Avengers guest stars are sprinkled throughout. It's always fun to see old faces in new roles.

I haven't seen it since I was a teenager. Looking forward to seeing it again.

Someone has posted "You can't go back" on youtube, which is the episode of Diana's US sitcom in which she was reunited with Patrick. The picture quality is sadly awful, but this is a real rarity and I think it's the first time this episode in it's entirety has appeared on the net. https://youtu.be/4yr3zRC0V18

Thanks for posting that. Yes, it's unfortunate the picture quality is so poor but still better than nothing. Wasn't this the last time Patrick and Diana worked together?

I didn't watch all of it but it made for interesting viewing.

Macnee on a multi-camera recording gave a very Gale era style of performance I felt.

yeah, I believe so...and that episode of 'Diana' is probably a bootleg...as I'm fairly certain, it hasn't been officially issued by either the network ( NBC ) or the production company...on a complete DVD set.

Bootleg? God, I would surely hope so! I can't imagine paying for such an awful copy nor any commercial network issuing something so poor.
And given the short run of the show it's unlikely it will ever be released commercially. Then again, maybe someday, every single TV show and film ever produced will be archived digitally and available for purchase.

Maybe for streaming one day. A lot of British telly, for instance, from both commercial and public-service stations is on Britbox.

the episode itself, wasn't bad...it was a sitcom, for pete's sake...not talking Avengers here...now from what I've seen on you tube, and other video sources, it was a poorly dubbed copy of that episode...looked like say, 5th gen...believe me, if there's any interest, eventually ' Diana ' will probably see a official 'proper' release...

With imgur going screwy it's very hard to find a reliable photo-hosting app on the web.
