Thanks for that.
I'm not in London so it's not on my Sky listings, but by going into:
Options
Other Channels and input the following:
11479
V
22000
5/6
dvb5

I have now been able to tune in.
Hope this may help others.

Thanks for posting the BFI link. I've now finally watched Diana's interview. She is a very entertaining lady. Interesting and witty. I noticed the film ran for 25 minutes. Was this the entire interview Question

I was surprised to discover that DDR made a funny cameo in the BBC's Christmas Eve comedy Professor Branestawm. A nice little part.

She was the funniest thing in it by far. Nice little cameo.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_p1qf-xBJw
Wonderful interview with Dame Diana in conversation with Gavin Estler at the University of Kent.

One gem of a tale I'd had never heard before is Diana's brilliant story, probably from May, 1963,
about her playing Cordelia in King Lear on tour with the RSC at the Theatre Sarah Bernhardt, in Paris
and her rather risque encounter with the legendary Marlene Dietrich...
Co-incidentally, both actresses played the same role, Christine, in film versions of Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution.

I really enjoyed it too. It is very interesting, full of great anecdotes such as the one you mentioned. She is always witty in her interviews and this is no exception. She tells some nice and funny stories about her theatre career, which unsurprisingly forms the bulk of the interview. Her TV & Film roles are mentioned, albeit briefly in comparison.

It also had an added, personal dimension for me, as kent Uni was where I studied Psychology!

The 1970 movie Julius Caesar in which Diana appears is on the TCM channel next Saturday (21st Jan) at 6.35pm. This is rarely shown. It's one of only a handful of Diana's performances I haven't seen. Has anyone seen this film Question What did you think Question Rich.

Finally watched Julius Caesar today after recording it a couple of months ago from the tcm channel. I have to say I wasn't impressed. Charlton Heston was ok, but Jason Robards was pretty wooden as Brutus. Diana Rigg was excellent as Portia, though she was only in the one scene. The 1953 version is far superior. Rich.

Diana Rigg in “Wogan” (1983). She talks about her book “No Turn Unstoned”, her American series “Diana” and the play “Colette”.

Congratulations to Diana on becoming a Grandmother at the beginning of April, when daughter Rachael gave birth to a baby boy.
