2. and maybe to the guy played by Gerald Harper, and a reference to Churchill's "... to so few" speech about the allied pilots in the 'Battle of Britain'.

Maybe it's a little tribute from the producer itself (Patrick Macnee and others) to his exellent BBC Production "The valiant years "which is about Winston Churchill during the Second World War.

It's a famous sentence from one of Churchill's war speeches, made on 20.8.1940 to the House of Commons

...Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few. All hearts go out to the fighter pilots, whose brilliant actions we see with our own eyes day after day; but we must never forget that all the time, night after night, month after month, our bomber squadrons travel far into Germany, find their targets in the darkness by the highest navigational skill, aim their attacks, often under the heaviest fire, often with serious loss, with deliberate careful discrimination, and inflict shattering blows upon the whole of the technical and war-making structure of the Nazi power. The first answer is not right, but here is a little help:
It has to do with a toy for Steed's nephew and it's from a Tara episode. Very Happy

The present has to do with "the few", it makes a big hole in Steed's window and a big black thing appears in the episode. Cool
