Eh, well it is... different.
Apart from some minor "mistakes", I'd say it's quite amusing.

Ooh, I like this a great deal. An animated version of the radio series.
I especially liked the almost Fenella Fielding-esque Emma Peel and I love that they have an 'Avengers Van' - brilliant. It all very 'Wallace and Gromit'.
Here's their Star Trek. Genius. _________________

I knew the funny Kirk animation, but I found the Avengers film first today.
You can download the programm they used at http://www.muvizu.com/, it's a cool programm for 3D animations. |

That's brilliant! It makes me think, though, that it would have been kind of fun if Donald Monet and Diane Appleby had reprised their roles in a South African produced television version of The Avengers - maybe produced on videotape, which would have taken the show back to its roots.
Obviously, there would have been no real point as it would be easier (and cheaper) to show the original TV series. However, it would have been good to see them as Steed and Mrs Peel. _________________ Paul |

I doubt I'll be exploring that part of my creative side - I'll just carry on ruining images of Steed and co. on photobucket
Yay! a Pet Shop Boys one too! _________________

That's a very good start. I will be sourcing that for some new screen-grabs in the new year undoubtedly. _________________

Mrs Peel fighting against Oyuka is so funny.
Poor Oyuka never hits Mrs Peel...
Thanks for sharing, Dandy.

It's great that the radio series is getting a bit of publicity (and something new!), but I'm disappointed that the guy who has produced it has not only not taken up my offer of using the high quality restored audio tracks but has also nicked an image from my website, The Avengers Declassified, which has an added graphic element of my own, without permission. How difficult is it to ask, "do you mind if I use this image?" _________________ Alan

I had the same thing many years ago when a Dutch set of DVDs used my old wooden Sixties television set imagery, when I asked why they replied that they had randomly sourced the exact same image from the same online museum I'd used - despite the fact that the set showed the static image from my animation, which wasn't on the original.
Some people just can't be bothered doing original creative... _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!
