During the ducking stool scene in Murdersville she said she was surprised at how little time she spent under water as she hadnít given the signal (wiggling her feet) to be raised up. Each time the director ordered she be raised before she was expecting to come up and felt she could have stayed down a lot longer.

It's wonderful to see two photos of Cyd from the recent event and hear these stories. Razz Many Thanks, Mariocki and Mike.

When I looked at Cyd in these photos, I remembered her from the videos from Granada Plus - she looks younger than her real years. Cyd in the bowler hat is charm something. Smile Was it Cyd's idea or did someone on event come up with this? Wink

What does Cyd say about the last Dead Manís Treasure Hunt. Her feelings? Did she like being The Scrutineer? Wink

Despite Cyd does not have photograph of Diane Enright, curious information that she she wouldnít try to do something in The Avengers that should have been done by a member of the stunt team, despite the director offering her more money to do so. It sheds light to know better her nature. Smile

Cyd in "Fire scene" and she realised that she had her Emma Peelerís on back to front. Turned as double stunt, in some kind. Yes, very similar to the scene from the episode From Venus With Love.

Scene where Mrs Peel is chased by the motorbike rider - looks like Cyd likes to tell it the most. They filmed it for two days - I imagine how tired every performer in it at the end, usually performer just start at a certain "hot point" to simplify everything rather than complicate things. I well understand Cyd and her decision simply let the bike hit her.

Good to know this was Cyd who driving the red Mini in The New Avengers episode Sleeper (it was definitely a dangerous glass-shattering scene there - oh so terrible to hear that the Cyd had seriously injured the arm and no ambulance in need time Crying or Very sad ) and Terry Plummer was in The Living Dead (need to check again).

Here is How, Big Bruno had complained about Cyd for being too rough! Who would have thought! Very Happy It says that Cyd is the heroine of Real Action. Very Happy

Yes, it is well felt when watching the episode, too, there is little time for these duckings in all cases.
I conducted an experiment for curiosity - I was able to hold my breath for two minutes. Surprise, considering that I'm not an sportsman and I lead an urban way of life, it's more than I expected. Shocked

Great to see Cyd getting into the spirit and recreating Ivor Dean's start of the rally.

I think Cyd and her husband enjoyed the weekend as we visited a few locations that she filmed at such as Tykes Lake, Starveacres and Rabley Park as well as Aldbury. Whoever sets the treasure hunt on the Saturday usually starts it off by assuming the role of the scrutineer and wears the bowler hat so it was thought appropriate for her to start us off this year.

I just watched The Superlative Seven for many times and I do not know if Cyd is in this, actually - I can not see properly on Optimum. Sad In the first footage, when Wade is attacked by Emma, this is Diana Rigg - it can be seen well - but after, hard to identify. Sad

I didn't know she was a famed Judo competitor, instructor, coach and administrator:

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_Child
"Christine retired from competition in 1975 but would go on to become a senior examiner, Budokwai Ladies Instructor, British Ladies Team Coach and Assistant General Secretary of the BJA"

Some nice pictures here: https://www.drakejudoclub.com/post/2017/11/13/drake-judo-club-appoints-former-double-european-champion-christine-gallie-7th-dan-as-hono
