Apologies if this has been mentioned before but I couldn't see it anywhere. I found this 2' 20" video on the British Pathe website: http://www.britishpathe.com/video/avengers-on-location/query/avengers It's a short news item about filming the tag scenes for 3 episodes of series 5.

However, even more interesting is this second collection of 7 minutes of "out takes and cuts" http://www.britishpathe.com/video/out-takes-cuts-from-cp-621-reel-1-of-3-avengers. This one has a lot of candid scenes...

I see from the calendar on Dissolute's site that the date is 5 September 1966.

The Beaulieu shoot was clearly intended to be used for media promotion. A lot of press photographers and a Southern Television vehicle can be seen.

That's clear somehow.
If a famous TV show is going to film on location, the press is there, too. Very Happy
Filming on location is always causing a sensation.

British Pathe have now uploaded all their material to YouTube. The two films above can be viewed at:

Avengers On Location (1966) and
Out Takes / Cuts From Cp 621 - Reel 1 Of 3 - Avengers On Location

The YouTube versions have the Pathe logo but don't have the intrusive "Copyright ... Preview" caption.

I'm amazed to find I can still edit posts from over 9 years ago, I don't know any other forums so accommodating! I have updated my first two posts in this thread to re-instate the pictures (previously hosted on Botophucket).

I've just got back from my annual trip to Beaulieu, here are some pictures of the same location taken this afternoon.

Amazing pictures, well show how this place is one of the best corners of the world in terms of beauty and elaboration of details. I am grateful that the Avengers creators used this location.
