Those are all great. Some of them look to be behind-the-scenes stuff, which is always fun--Diana and Peter Wyngarde, Patrick with the whole of the Superlative Seven set. And look at how lovely Charlotte Rampling is.

I picked those up in a job lot of about a dozen original promotional photos for around 20 from a US eBay seller. Very lucky considering what these things usually sell for!

Excellent collection, DerekD. Very Happy

Large archive of sheets with original promo photographs available on the paid Rex Features - a huge database of images "The Avengers".

Many of these photos were sold at auctions for a long time, but away back, since then no one setted stills for sale, which you posted here.
I saved it for my collection, as they in a very good resolution. Many thanks. Razz

If you have more material of this or other photo series "The Avengers", it would be interesting to look at it and evaluate. Wink

I had a look through the Rex Features archive the other day, there's lots of fun images but it's sadly lacking on Linda Thorson shots.

That's a great deal! You could pay that much for one photo easily, so you really did hit the jackpot.

Indeed yes. I recently bought a single photo like these for about the same price. This lot were clearly from a TV station archive as they came with an ABC union jack promotional card and several other nice stills including a couple of colour ones. I'll post a few more pictures when I get the chance.

ABC 35mm colour camera ready to film Diana Rigg on location in the centre of Aldbury on a hot August afternoon in 1967 for the classic Little Storping - Murdersville episode.

Great pictures showing Diana at Aldbury, stood outside The Greyhound pub in one shot. The camera is a blimped German built Arriflex, the camera of choice for location filming on The Avengers. The village has hardly changed since the sixties, though it is a very busy tourist attraction nowadays.

Two 1965 ABC productions Redcap and The Avengers. John Thaw red-caps Diana.

Diana playing it cool in The Mini Killers.

Diana being hoisted high by Patrick and Bruce Forsyth circa 1966

Diana and Patrick at an evening Awards function... circa 1967/68

Diana playing it cool in The Mini Killers....she certainly looks here as if she could give Joanna Lumley a 'run' for her money as the Avenger Girl with the most athletic and shapely legs Smile Thanks for a fantastic photo of Diana Cool

Many thanks for the very rare photo, Bob. As the general public knows a few pictures behind the scenes of the series The New Avengers, it's just a gorgeous gift.
Interesting fact also is that shooting covered not just September, as indicated on all sites.

How did I miss these pics from July? You must be a detective Denis as these pictures are not easy to find. The ones you just posted are truly fantastic. So that's what you have been up to Wink brilliant!

It was a great pleasure to post it here, since our collections long time ago not replenished something similar.

A piece of it was previously part of the photographic material in DVD Optimum.

I am particularly delighted with photo Patrick Macnee with puma.
And this clearly has a similar concept with one of a photo shoot The New Avengers.
