Many thanks for your detailed report, Big Bear, it's very intresting to read. Smile

So Rocky referred that he is 71 years old now? I'm starting to think that I hurried with post on this forum about his date of birth as February 1945 (in the sense that it turns out Rocky prefers to look younger). But frankly it seemed obvious that when you read that Rocky was 16 when he participated in the movie The Young Ones, you already think about 1945 (some sources also confirm it). As a result, this is generally not a big secret. Wink

Aha, according to Rocky his real name is actually Laurie. And it is nice to hear a story about where the name Rocky came from. Razz Rocky Sham - there is something in it. Wink

However I asked him to sign my Cybernauts poster and his eyes lit up and he said that's me I remember that very well, he didn't really consider it to be a stunt just moving around a bit slowly in a stiff costume!

It reminds me of a robot in Avengers episode Invasion of the Earthmen. The actor in a suit moved real very slowly, that sometimes I started thinking when he finally got to his "destination". Laughing

He rolled up his shirt sleeve and there was still a fairly large scar on his arm and he said that happened on The Avengers, they didn't have the rehearsal time they had on larger productions or films.

Here is how, it sounds like Rocky got this scar almost immediately during "a short rehearsal". Surprised Given that the stuntman who replaced him for fight also received damage, says the stunt was very dangerous. Surprised

Wonderful photos, I got a lot of pleasure viewing them. Razz

I wonder if Laurie is short for Laurence, in which case his name is the same as his father's (Larry Taylor) who appears in loads of films and series from the 1960s. I think they even appear together in some of them.
