For Avengers fans, here super photo of young Paul Weston (one of main stunt doubles for Patrick Macnee). Found on Facebook.

Great pic.
Here's how he looked 2 weeks ago:
I should be seeing him next Tuesday too as he's attending the Ray Austin talk in London. _________________ "No ma'm, I'm a Texan." |

Thanks for pic. This is good to see that Paul is very active in last time too.
If you will have the opportunity to communicate with Ray Austin on planned event, Mariocki, it would be great to know on which beach were taken photos with Diana and Patrick in 1965.... well, if you do not mind.
Although it was already so long ago,... _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Not only was Paul there, but Rocky Taylor too. A good night with some great stories.
@Denis - I've answered your question in the other thread. _________________ "No ma'm, I'm a Texan." |

Great to hear - Paul and Rocky in one event! This leads to good nostalgic - in last time I watch the colored episodes with Emma Peel again, I always take these two legend men as one team there.
You do not have a photo with Rocky on this event, Mariocki?
Many thanks for answer about location of beach. Go to topic in other thread. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Sorry Denis, I wasn't in a good enough position to take photos but some other forum members who were there may have done. _________________ "No ma'm, I'm a Texan." |

Yesterday I watched the episode The Winged Avenger for the first time on the Optimum DVD and noticed that when Emma Peel jumps over the fence, it's looks as a man in a suit and wig. Wonder if this is Peter J. Elliott again. It is most likely that this understudy jumped through the fence from the sort of trampoline. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Piers, I recently read the latest news on your site and there it is mentioned "a huge list of stunt performers to work through". If I understand correctly, do you plan to create a section for stunt team? To admit, it would be excellent. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

It's not my intention because it takes so long to do. Phil has given me a list of performers who are known to have been in the Avengers. I think most of them are covered in Mike's book. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

In any case, I'm glad to hear you are expanding your site to the topic of stuntmen. If not secret, Piers - do you know, is this a list of performers fully from official documents or just Phil's notes? _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Piers, I just looked at the actor's list on the episode Game of your website, it's nice to find that all the stuntmen have been identified now. Really, I'm surprised, it seems so obvious now that Dice 4 is Del Baker. I was never even close to this idea. Well done! _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Yesterday I finished watching the episode "Never, Never Say Die".
On DVD Optimum is already very obvious that this is Rocky Taylor as Steed in the scene of the fight between hero and the android. Moreover, Eddie Powell performs as a permanent stuntman for Christopher Lee in necessary cases (road accidents, etc.).
Also, recently was did very important post in topic Cyd Child, dated Jun 04, 2018 (11:27 am), related to episode "Never, Never Say Die":

Last important news
Identified Ray Austin as John Steed in two b/w episodes with Emma Peel. Previously there were only assumptions for these.
The Murder Market
This is the only good frame in which Ray can be calculated. Earlier, I had doubts when studying all the footages with the stuntman of Patrick Macnee in this episode, since there is another similar understudy, unidentified.
The Master Minds
Ray is in footage when, as Steed, he descends on a rope on Desmond Leeming (Joe Farrar). Also there is another stuntman for Patrick Macnee in final fight of this episode, unidentified. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Confirmed - it's primarily Terry Richards as stunt double for Jeremy Burnham in Avengers episode The Town of No Return.
I had this feeling before, but due to the lack of "Blu Ray copy" of the episode I could not conduct a proper check.
Although I still do not have Blu Ray, I just today discovered that website Shutterstock have Avengers stills from Rex Features archive, but in a much better quality.
This contributed to the fact that it was easy to identify Terry.

I notice Mike Stevens being Macnee's double in "Dial a Deadly Number" in the basement motorbike scene. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

How do you find proper Avengers pictures on Shutterstock Denis? All I get when I search for "Avengers" on their website is 92 pages of Marvel pictures. |
