It's short and sweet and beautiful. Another actor who found Patrick a wonderful person. Is there any other actor who made friends with nearly everyone he worked with? Who no one can say anything bad about. He was a special man.

Patrick was mentioned on Countdown today.
The guy in Dictionary corner Michael Whitehall, was a friend of Patricks, and whilst meeting a friend at the Garrick Club, received a letter.
He put it in his pocket unopened, but as his friend was late decided to open it.
Patrick had sent him three photo's, and they were all of Patrick - nude.

The friend turned up, they had their meal and Mr Whitehall went home.
A day of two later Mr Whitehall received a letter with the Garrick Club logo on the envelope.

He opened it and it was from the Club Secretary, along with a note - I think these are yours!
Yes, enclosed were the nude pictures of Patrick.

Today is memorable sad day, as Patrick Macnee died of natural causes at his home exactly year ago in California aged 93. Sad

This day for me is filled with nostalgic tones in the air - I recall numerous works with favorite actor, all of which I like so far. For each of his works he devoted his creative energy and charm, he was never so, that you could say, "He does it so that he tired, or he has no desire". He always appreciated the audience and he remained in our hearts mainly as a cheerful friendly person. Great person!
Many Thanks to Patrick for everything.

Here is article with rare photos from old spanish magazine:

Yes an anniversary and odd timing as many of us that did that treasure hunt last year came back and were quite surprised and saddened at the news. Thanks you for the lovely magazine as a tribute to Patrick, the ultimate gentleman.

I have found conflicting reports on Patrick being cremated and him being buried with his third wife near his final place of residence.

Thanks for the update! In May 2019, FindAGrave listed him as buried at Desert Memorial Park but by Feb. 2020, it listed his place of burial as "unknown," and by October 2020, it reported: "cremated, ashes given to family or friend." Let's hope he found a final resting place! And yes, with Baba being in Desert Memorial, it's likely he's there, too. It's only a few blocks from their old home.

You could ask Rupert Macnee on Facebook as he runs the official page (also the website but that's not up-to-date):

In the 1997 episode of One Foot In The Past, Patrick revisits the town of Boshom. While at the Holy Trinity Church, he says, "I'd like to be buried here. I've always felt at peace, here in Bosham, by the sea." It certainly would have been more romantic than in the arid, Rancho Mirage area of southern California. But he'd been living there so long, and Rupert and Jenny were in the area, no doubt he considered that home.

A grave is ultimately for those left behind. It would have been awkward for his family living in America to visit his grave were it in England.

It makes sense he'd be in the same place as his wife. They were devoted to each other.

Third - he was married before The Avengers and married Katherine Woodville during it.
