We are occasionally getting errors with the forum where you will be shown a bad gateway error message, or similar, when viewing the forum or posting to it.

This seems the be caused by other fora that we share the server with using too many resources and/or other bizhat network congestion. Accordingly, there's not much that we can do to rectify it.

Personally, I rectified the issue by switching to Opera instead of Chrome, but that only lasted a hort time and I'm back using Chrome again.

A well know troubleshooting option for these errors is to clear your browse cache and delete cookies and it has definitely worked for my self and a few other members.
(I'm not sure why, though, as it ought toINCREASE demand for network traffic.)

Also, note that you'll have to relogin to all your regular sites if you delete your cookies unless you choose which cookies to delete.

Just curious, but what are the big fora on Bizhat? Is it general fora traffic that is big for them or could it be they are data intensive (e.g. a photographic forum having lots of photographs being uploaded/downloaded)?

I get the feeling that this forum is one of the smaller ones...
