Surely that's Paul Weston doing the driving? I think the back of Steed is Rocky, his hair is a bit sandy when the light hits it - and it's straighter than the other stand-ins' hair.

Piers, my message from 21 November 2016 (page 3, this topic) is as follows:

Umm, no sure that actor below on photo from episode The Fear Merchants is Rocky Taylor: Confused

Rocky had haircut like Patrick Macnee. And think it was not a wig, as he is not rare performed various difficult stunts in series so, since 4 season (well, in adding hardly can imagine that someone would be allowed him to use the some amount of same wigs for difficult stunts - as we knows, wig costs a lot of money). Wink

Rocky:

Rocky:

It is most likely that when shooting the scene "the pass from back the man in a suit and bowler hat", Rocky by certain reason was not available, and maybe they not had access to the wigs too (it is very possible if this scene was shot in the period when they not had access to film at Elstree studios, so they could not have the person who could provide them with part of the necessary things, for example).

I do not agree. But at this time I'm will not to prove anything again for last post, everything is written in my previous messages in this thread.

For clarify, while I agree that man in the car may be Paul Weston (right now I saw the scene from The Fear Merchants with driver from the front - yes, he looks close to Paul, who had similar haircut with Patrick at time), it's obviosuly that man in the hospital is not Rocky.

That is, I posted this shot with driver only as example for haircut. I admit, I hastened to write that this is Rocky, I did not hold driver's identification for sure.
But I made the identification of the person in the hospital, who are not Rocky and yes, it's obvious that this is Rocky in the pit.

In general, when I'll get to study color episodes for first time in good quality, I will write about it, Paul or no, for better sure. At the time, I examine the episode Quick-Quick Slow Death.

Oh, I have not seen a photo of Enright, too. Sad

But now, a big surprise.

I'm identified who is this person in the photo below.

Joe Farrer (or John Farrer), according official info pages in Mike's book "Bowler Hats and Kinky Boots".

I can't find him mentioned in my copy of Mike's book, can you give me page references?

credited as Joe Farrer, page 611 (Who's Who???)
credited as Joe Farrar, page 615 (Return of the Cybernauts)
credited as Joe Farrar, page 618 (Dead Man's Treasure)
credited as John Farrer, page 652 (All Done with Mirrors)
credited as Joe Farrar, page 657 (Super Secret Cypher Snatch)

I watched the episodes, these are one same person. Wink

Hmm, but man as Joe Farrar is mentioned more often in documents, maybe so correctly. Confused

Possibly if check other stuntmen mentioned in the documents in the book of Mike, we will to find someone else. But I decided not to do it on time.

Sadly, Piers, I have finished watching of "Quick-Quick Slow Death", and I was not able to identify the stuntmen. The only thing, stunt double for Patrick does not look like Rocky. Confused

Yes.... I nearly IDed him the other day when I reillustrated the episode but I'm in two minds, he looks fatter than Victor normally looks but it might be the angle.

Confused Hmm, you're right. Unfortunately, this is the only picture with the actor, I can analize (as I not have a Blu Rays). Piers, maybe to post it on Britmovie for result? If want, I can to do it. Wink

Piers, in last time you're working for episode Noon Doomsday? Wink

Well, there are interesting topic for discussion one uncredited actor in They Keep Killing Steed, but let me I will go to it when you get to point. Wink Bit of little intrigue. Smile

It was just a hypothesis. Wink

In the last news of website Mrs Peel... We're Needed! was updating for four episodes, before there was six episodes. Although I could not be sure how many episodes you took for another set, recently you made a hint on the forum. Wink

http://avengersfanforum.s2.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=529&start=160

Near the end of Noon Doomsday the panic-stricken Lyall bursts in to Sir Rodney's room and rips the stylus across the record he's playing - but it's a different record to what he'd put on a moment earlier, despite the same music still playing.

Based on it, I thought, it is very likely that lately you are still working for the episode Noon Doomsday. Rolling Eyes (well, I took for the option that you choose the four episodes in production order for another set).

But OK, I'm not Sherlock Holmes. Wink

Well spotted, I'm working through the bluray set so it's normally four at a time. The six were discs 1 & 2. The latest four were updated overnight, enjoy! (Still need to look into Terry Richards and Joe Phelps, btw)

(In fact, I lied - I was no longer working on Noon but had moved on Snatch and Game)

I had an enjoy to look at updatings, Piers. Smile The excellent quality of images attached the mood up. Face of many actors became visible much more clearly. Razz Surely can to say following for episode Game: Dice 3 is not Terry Richards, while Dice 6 is Joe Cornelius. Wink

It will be interesting to hear your final verdict for Joe Phelps.

Sadly to read, your bluray "died". Sad If not a secret, what exactly happened with? Sad

Last week my VHS recorder broke, he just does not want to play the tape and pulls them back. I'll try to fix it. For 5 season I was going to compare Optimum edition, A&E and prints (recorded on VHSs) that were shown on Russian television. I remember for 6 season, that episode Game in Dutch DVD edition has been cut in comparison with the print shown in Russian television.

Surprise, right now I realized who is an actor played Myers, Yuill's butler in episode Dial a Deadly Number by the picture below.

Jack Silk.

For comparison, Jack in series 'The Human Jungle' (episode Dual Control)

1. Mole on the right side of the face near the nose.

2. Haircut of Jack.

3. Eyes, look, nose, ears.

4. Jack Silk was famous stunt driver (mainly as motorcyclist). In episode, Steed discovers the Yuill's butler when looking at the motorcyclist unconscious in the garage.

Thanks for that Denis, updated. I'd already noticed Joe Cornelius but not got round to it yet - also done. I quickly rechecked Mission .... Highly Improbable as one of the motorbikes is the same but he's not there although the riders look vaguely familiar...

Bluray developed a hardware fault - failied to read a disc here and there, then finally reached a point where it kept constantly opening and closing by itself.

In a way it was a Bowie tribute as the first disc it totally failed with was "Blackstar" Smile

Yesterday made a detailed look at the updates. Wink And it was an amazing coincidence, Piers, as it happened at a time when you were working on it. I regularly updated the pages in the browser looking forward to the changes. Smile

I was interested for Mission .... Highly Improbable (also The Danger Makers) too, as your old important finding for same licence plate of motorbike in these episodes has said that most likely the owner of the vehicle had to be one person.
At first, I did research on IMCDb, and found an interesting thing, Piers, in film Robbery (1967).

http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=399493

Motorbike 452 YMF is there, and one of the riders are Jack Silk (according some resources). Wink The second is Rick Lester.

Unfortunately I did not come to any new result in this topic by making other look at motorcycle stunt rider in The Danger Makers and first detailed look at the riders in Mission .... Highly Improbable. Oh. Things seems said that Jack Silk should to be there, but yes.... "visibility to zero".

Personally, I only found that a rider at picture below look vaguely familiar for me... Hmm, need to think. Confused

Bowie tribute "Blackstar"? Some "mystical overtones" for problem with BluRay, although I'm not superstitious. Yes, in life there are all sorts of surprises.
Piers, you are planning to try fixing it or buy a new one? How old is your BluRay? Well, it would also be interesting to hear the name of the company, if you do not mind. Wink
