You misunderstand, I have a new bluray player otherwise I couldn't have done the latest update (both are LG). Also, my tongue was firmly in the cheek when I suggested the tribute; it was pure coincidence and I initially thought it was copy protection on the disc.

Oops, now I understand. I actually thought you have only old BluRay player and the latest update on website was done by reason you almost finished the work for other set before the device broke down.

I have TV and DVD player LG. Smile While the models of the devices makes me happy for many years. "But never know where find where lose".

Well, I look forward to the high-quality images from Legacy of Death, too, there is one "vaguely familiar" uncredited actor. Wink

Yesterday made a detailed look at the updates. Wink And it was an amazing coincidence, Piers, as it happened at a time when you were working on it. I regularly updated the pages in the browser looking forward to the changes. Smile

I was interested for Mission .... Highly Improbable (also The Danger Makers) too, as your old important finding for same licence plate of motorbike in these episodes has said that most likely the owner of the vehicle had to be one person.
At first, I did research on IMCDb, and found an interesting thing, Piers, in film Robbery (1967).

http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=399493

Motorbike 452 YMF is there, and one of the riders are Jack Silk (according some resources). Wink The second is Rick Lester.

The second bike, 532 PPL is also there, although they get the plate number wrong. In fact, there are a lot of vehicles in that film that regularly appear in The Avengers - probably all hired from the same company near the studios.

Yes, Piers, it's hard to be sure. Confused As fact, Jack Silk was one of partners of Joe Wadham, who based famous firm Action 99 cars.

https://www.lancasterinsurance.co.uk/news/2016/november/09/heroes-of-motoring-%E2%80%93-the-stunt-professionals/

There also worked Alan Stuart and Ken Sheppard (Ken Shepherd) from certain point.
This raised me to believe that Jack Silk was good candidate as stunt bike rider in the episode The Danger Makers, where Joe Wadham played a van driver. Hmm. Confused
So, seems most likely that bike 452 YMF is property of Action 99 cars or property of one of stuntmen (Jack Silk?) from this firm, I think. Confused

And now, new identification. Smile

Fred Peck as Diplomat in episode Death's Door.

Below, Fred in Dr Terror's House of Horrors (1964)

Earlier, Fred played one of labourer in episode Man-eater of Surrey Green.

Smile Hi, dear fans, recently Piers did an update on its website for other four episodes with Linda Thorson and now there is an opportunity to better explore the uncredited performers. Smile

Episodes are Legacy of Death, They Keep Killing Steed, Killer, and Wish You Were Here.

So, I'll start to identify of actors in order presented above, first episode is Legacy of Death.

Here we come to the exciting news, because thanks to Mike Richardson (information I learned in his book), we found the name of the actor in the photo below.

Yes, this is actor who has been a mystery for many years in episode A Touch of Brimstone, as there was not sureness who he played.

Bill Reed.

He was credited as Parkin in episode When the Spirit Moves You of TV series 'Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)'.

Mainly Bill was a stuntman.

Thanks Denis! I've already added Jack Ross, and found more appearances by Philip Webb, so I'll add Bill to the list ASAP. I wonder who the scrawny guy with the moustache is - I'm sure I've seen him before somewhere.

I had the look at Philip Webb on your site, Piers, good finding. Cheers. Smile

Scrawny guy with the moustache from Legacy of Death is... Wink

Joseph Tregonino

Just sent on IMDb the following information to update the actor page:

Birth Name: Frederick Joseph Tregonino
Born on 1st May 1913
Died: March 1979 in Hammersmith, London, England, UK

In last time I worked a lot on IMDB updating of the pages for movie releases on home video (mainly Greek releases) in order the indicated years of some films were correct. As since yesterday the IMDb headquarters suspended the work on updating the applications, I decided to return to the Avengers (although I already planned to do it in coming days). Wink

It's funny that this work on IMDb came unexpectedly for me, as I was preparing to work on the first color Avengers episode for website and in the course of some studies for it, I found the dates of Greek releases of movies for home. I decided to go to the IMDb with it so that the thoughts for the upcoming work on the first color episode did not distract me for lot to this intriguing finding. Laughing

Since today current episode for the identities of extras is They Keep Killing Steed. Wink

Started with exicting discovery, which I mentioned earlier in the message from Feb 01, 2017 this thread.
I wrote at the time to Piers:

"Well, there are interesting topic for discussion one uncredited actor in They Keep Killing Steed, but let me I will go to it when you get to point. Bit of little intrigue".

The time has come. An actor who played a role Perova on picture below was identified.

Peter Roy

Peter participated in many famous movies and TV series, including:

Peter conducts a very active creative way of life, continuing to act in films and television, to participate in various major events and have own satured Facebook page: Very Happy

https://www.facebook.com/peter.roy.52091

Pity, it's very rare when TV series Avengers is mentioned as one of Peter's many works, however:

https://www.startiger.com/myStars/l.php?i=341890&u=18090

It is possible that Peter participated in other Avengers episodes too.

On moment I have suspicion for person on picture below:

Porter at Norborough in episode A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Station.

Confused

One of extras in Avengers episode They Keep Killing Steed looks like Roy Lansford:

Roy in "The Great St Trinian's Train Robbery" (1966)

More, Roy regularly smoked the smoking pipe in the shot (below, screenshots from different film productions 1960s):

Now to proceed to Tara episode Wish You Were Here. Wink

One of hotel guests identified as...

Les Conrad

Before Les already participated in The Avengers: he was as one of villagers in Emma Peel episode Murdersville (1967).

Nice finding, Mess Officer in Avengers episode The Interrogators is...

Peter Hannon (or Peter Hannan)

Earlier he played a portier in episode Wish You Were Here.

Hmm, there is some uncertainty with the actor, who played Packer in episode Homicide and Old Lace. Confused

According Moviedude, this is Maurice Dunster (Mo Dunster), but Harry Fielder is not absolute sure for it on ex-Britmovie.

http://filmdope.com/forums/114060-movie-dudes-most-wanted-36.html

He was credited in movie Alien Thunder (1974), but due to bad quality of film in online, I was not able to see the actor. Sad

Piers, maybe you have a photo? Wink

I don't think that's Mo.

Compare with Weary's site where the two names are separated - and neither of them look like this guy, the nose is completely different:

Indeed, Piers, two persons indicated as Mo/Maurice Dunster on Weary's site are other persons in contrast to what I posted earlier. Hmm, exactly this is the problem that it's hard to say what Mo looked like in the 1960s. Confused

Sadly, only confirmaions are photo with Mo in old age. For example:

Personally, I only found that a rider at picture below look vaguely familiar for me... Hmm, need to think. Confused

It's Mike Reid, the other rider is Max Latimer (now correctly IDed by Spotlight). (Thanks to Phil Ellis for that - along with a mountain of other corrections and IDs). Hopefully those updates will go on the site today.
