This game is the German version of Rich's. What is the episode name in English of these Avenger's episodes? The trick is recalling the plot of the episode in many of these, but they're tough! Have fun.

1. Willkommen im Shakespeare’s Inn---Welcome to Shakespeare's Inn

2. Mrs. Peel zum Ersten, zum Zweiten, zum Dritten /
Nadeln töten leiser-----Mrs. Peel for once, going twice, the third /
Needles kill quieter

3. Vorsicht, Raubkatzen--Attention big cats

4. Willkommen im Dorf des Todes--Welcome to the Village of Death

5. 2:1=1

6. Weekend auf dem Lande--Weekend in the country

7. Stille Tage auf dem Land--Quite Days in the Countryside
Clue: THe French version of this episode is called:Noël en Février--Christmas in February

8.Der Dolch der tausend Tode--The dagger of a thousand deaths

9. Das Häuschen im Grünen--The cottage in the country

10. Kennen Sie Snob

Tricky. I remember somebody else posting the German titles but they were different to these.

1. Must be Wish You Were Here, but could possibly be Room Without A View.
2. The Girl From Auntie.
3. The Hidden Tiger, but could possibly be Small Game For Big Hunters.
4. Murdersville.
5. Two's A Crowd, but I suppose it could be Who's Who?
6. Very tricky. If it's cryptic it could be The Joker. Might be Wish You Were Here or even Take Over, but unlikely as I think...
7. Take Over. Smile
8. Legacy Of Death.
9. The House That Jack Built.
10. Either The Correct Way To Kill or its predecessor The Charmers. Not sure SNOB was used in The Charmers. I think it came in the remake.

I think Johnny has solved all of these. I struggled with 2 of these, #1 as I couldn't remember which episode had Shakespeare's Inn. Embarassed Is this Wish you were here as Johnny has pointed out Question #6 is the trickiest, it could be several. There are so many set in the countryside. Weekend must be the crucial word. I think this is The Joker. Rich.

Well done Rich as I think you covered this chapter in your essay. That one could fit for several but it is indeed Joker. I thought the Weekend in the country and the cottage were tricky myself. Perhaps I threw in too many clues. Will have to make the next set harder for you guys!

It is interesting how the French and German titles are so differently done. It seems the German titles are strictly on topic and the French are more metaphorical.

Brilliant Johnny! Your first guess was right for all of them.

1. Wish You Were Here. Somehow I think the Germans had a better title. What do you think?
2. Girl from Auntie
3. Hidden Tiger
4.Murdersville
5. Two's A Crowd
6. Joker-I also thought this was quite tricky but you astutely got it spot on!
7.Takeover
8.Legacy of Dath
9. THe House that Jack Built
10. Correct Way to Kill

I think honestly most of the original titles were the best, but the Germans improved a few. I tried to throw in a few easy ones but clearly you had a grand slam Johnny with getting them all in one shot. I will clearly have to make the next one more difficult! Again simply brilliant!

Yes, these are tougher Margo! Laughing I've tried to guess some. The first 3 elude me for the moment.
4. Escape in time. The word past might be a clue here.
5.Bizarre. The travel agent made me think of the holiday connection.
6.Mission highly improbable. The word smaller gave me this one.
8.Is this The Joker? Does suit refer to cards?
9. The Living dead. The name of the pub led me to this one.
10. Is this Countless clues? The word evidence might be a clue, no pun!
11. You'll catch your death.
12.Take me to your leader.
13. The danger makers.
14. Positive negative man.
15.Small game for big hunters.

The last few I got straight away. I hope! I am struggling with the others though. I'll keep thinking. Idea Rich.

11 Catch your death is correct
12 take me 2 your leader is correct
13 and 15 are spot on
14 is not correct. But ur doing great as this is tough

Really hope you get your computer sorted Margo! Sad
Is #8 Dial a deadly number? I'm thinking of the pen in the 'suit' pocket.

Oh my goodness, I hope not!
I'll turn off the ads if they're causing problems.

I've checked an you do occasionally get fake virus removal ads - don't click on them!!!

I've complained to the supplier but I'm at work so I can't remove the ads until this evening; I'll turn them off then.

If you do get any of the more funky things on your PC before I can turn them off, follow this guide:

thank you Piers. the computer is working now. I am truly not sure what happened? I was looking on your site when suddenly a window popped open that stayed frozen that said I was the lucky winner of something and to press OK (which of course I did not.) I was then unable to close the window or shut down the computer. It happened so fast. But it was not a virus removal ad. Whatever I did was unintentional and maybe had nothing to do with your site? Anyway thanks for the help.

Some clues Rich. #1 refers to a scene in this episode. It is rather tricky.
#3 Lady in the Center refers to our heroine in the episode.

Those pop-up ads do sometimes freeze the whole thing as it's trying to make sure something gets seen...

I'll remove the ads ASAP.

Thanks for the clues Margo!
1.Death at bargain prices. (I'm thinking of the scene where the next time the lift descends -bang)
2.You have just been murdered.
3.The girl from Auntie.
8.The winged avenger. (Does suit refer to his costume?)
14.Thingumajig.

I cannot think of anything definite for # 5 or 7 yet. Does holiday refer to Little Bazeley by the sea in Town of no return Question Is 160 from the state Have guns will haggle Question Rich.

Congrats. #14 is indeed Thingamajig.
I will try to give more clues but I wonder if #7 is not translated exactly? (these were translations from google.)

#3 Excellent guess as it fits but it is not the answer. THis heroine exclaims that she has been framed better than the Mona Lisa.

Your #1 is not correct. I just saw this episode a few months ago and I can barely recall the scene where there was I believe some sort of surprise explosion or shooting. Not one of those memorable scenes easy to recall. Your answer to this one IS the answer to another episode.
#8 You are on the right track but this is a lesser thought of episode IMHO.
#5 is one that you have listed on one of your French quizzes.
Hope this helps! You are really doing great.

I've got #3! Smile It's Who was that man I saw you with. One of my favourite Tara episodes. I've seen it so many times, the Mona Lisa clue jumped straight out at me.

Is #1 Have guns will haggle Question I seem to remember a surprise explosion towards the end of the episode where Tara was held captive in a shed.

Is #8 Invasion of the Earthmen, I'm thinking space suit here.

Is #2 Death at bargain prices Question

Thanks for the clues. Smile Still working on #5 and 7. Loving this game. It really makes you think about the episodes in a new way.
