Ha, it is sadly that The Avengers are not started in the 50s. Laughing

Ha. This is great. Well done indeed.

Japan's titles are my favourite - so very literal. In nearly every case they completely spoil the plot (e.g. Hypnotic Murder). Fabulous!

I think L'heure perdue means The Lost Hour. The Lost Time would have been Le temps perdu.

Many thanks, Denis, though I use Google translator and online dictionaries for this thread, there are sometimes phrases which difficult to determine a exact meaning.

Funny, as for "L'heure perdue" I used following site for final result, because I could not decide, there was The Lost Hour or The Lost Time:

http://colognoisseur.com/new-perfume-review-cartier-xi-lheure-perdue-embracing-the-synthetic/

There posted:
L’Heure Perdue translates to “lost time” and this time it seems like a bit of non-sequitur for a name.

so I decided to go for this option, but it is now clear this is a mistake.

Denis, please, you could check out all the English translations of the French names of the episodes in this thread? Wink

Based on it, we can only speculate how sounds the talks with the Japanese voice acting - how are close to the original. Wink Imagine, episode "Too Many Christmas Trees" under title "Dream, Santa and Murder", it sounds like story in noir style for me. Very Happy

There are two titles for this one in France. Petit gibier pour gros chasseurs (Small game for big hunters) is on DVD.

The system of structure of this thread was one of those that I initially thought would lead to some issues.

In many countries, part of the episodes had more than one name, like France, West Germany, Spain, etc... So, there was important moment - whether I should was point out all the options that are known? Confused In the end, I threw it and decided to go the classic way - for every "individual corner of world" by one title (like some Avengers websites). I choose option to post the titles that were used from the original run (s) + the titles from screen (as for French). Wink
