This is the fibreglass right hand claw, just needs the metal claws attached (in this case acrylic) and then to be painted.

Don't know why, but these boots look like they've been 'tinkered' with to me, rather than just off the shelf and then painted silver efforts. The soles don't look quite authentic.
Looks like this is going to have to be a from scratch build effort. I've never attempted to make shoes before |

Well that's the build completed and undercoated, harder than I thought to be honest. Just needs air spraying the correct colour now, which is the fun bit, but of course before I can do that there's the boring bit of having to make the left hand one !

I'd quite like to have a bash at painting this piece of WA artwork seen on the wall behind the lamp.

Ah is it. Well it stands to reason then that I wont be able to come anywhere near Mr Bellamy's artistic standard. But It'll be fun to do all the same |

OK, my final prop build related post on the forum. It takes a lot of time posting pictures etc, time which I really should be utilising else where, and very sadly it seems to have turned into a bit of a ghost town here, not just in this section, but throughout the board. Hopefully at some point in the future things will improve
.... Anyway, The Winged Avenger claws ..... TTFN.

Sorry to see you go, though I understand why. It has not been busy here all year and if you're posting things and not getting a response then there's no motivation to continue. I will miss your posts and the step by step building process used to create the various props. Thanks for taking the time to post the large amount of images that you have. |

Oh it's nothing to do with a lack of response to my posts Mike, I really don't do it for that reason, if I did I'd have stopped ages ago. To me it was just part and parcel of the hobby. But it takes so long taking photos. cropping, reducing them, hosting them, posting them.... It's just time that could be better spent doing other stuff. I was really speaking generally. Sadly nothing much is going on here in any of the sub forums, which is understandable, it's pretty much all been said over the years. Also, nobody else posts in this section with any other creative endeavours, and as such I think it's time to call it a day myself, at times it's like being in an art class on your own lol I'll still continue to build items from the show, but I'll not be posting pictures and stuff of them here. Do keep in touch though |

Truly superb in the finished product! I'm guilty of not taking part recently but there's been a lot on... I wish I had your talent for crafting props. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!
