The 13th flag pin looks terrific.
It's one of my favourite episodes - immensely enjoyable.
The golf clubs and black plastic leather-effect head covers look very similar to the ones my Dad used to have in 1965.
Although, he didn't have a head-cover labelled 303 Smile

Thanks James,
It's one of my favourites too. I love the Steed/Emma pick up sticks scene, It's so natural I'd stake my life on the fact that it's almost entirely spare of the moment chat and not scripted. Note how Emma accidentally moves the box and Steed replies "that doesn't count" - no way is that rehearsed.
I'm of the mind that the flag posts were the ones actually used by the Mill Hill Golf Club. I can't believe that the production team went to the trouble of making all those that were seen hanging in the store room. And yes the golf club covers look very similar to, if not are the ones commonly used by golfers in the 60's.

You must get a great sense of satisfaction from building these props and this one looks very authentic.

It's fun, and it satisfies my huge creative streak, but it's what to do with them when they're completed, some of them are big pieces. I mean this ones now stood in the kitchen, and I'm thinking to myself, 'OK now what, what the hell are you going to do with that !' Confused

Ian

Do you have a study or a room where they could all be displayed or stored?

I did Mike, about 10 years ago, when I had my commercial Avengers collection, but that room has long since been converted. I was accused last week of hiding behind the curtains and not answering the front door, explaining that it was in fact a Cybernaut standing in the corner of the lounge was a little embarrassing ! What with that, a flag pole in the kitchen, a bomb on the coffee table, a manic looking ventriloquist dummy sitting on the lounge floor, and all the other strange looking Avengers related props laying around the place, I'm starting to get a reputation as the village weirdo !

Its constructive and you enjoy it. It does not harm anyone and there are a lot worse things in life you could do.

These are my main components for Mrs Peel's 'Cyclops' door bell from The Town of No Return. A large plastic plant pot base from Wilko and a 16cm diameter plastic sphere I had in the garage. I intend to cut the centre circular section out of the pot base.

Bit of an upgrade on the 13th Hole flag, I've replaced the acrylic flag supports with this set of steel ones that I made this morning Wink

I've searched high and low but these are the closest valves that I can find for the donut bomb. And what is that thing made of ? It looks like florists oasis.

I would say that the ring is made of polysterene or styrofoam.

Yes I would agree. I'll have to make it from fibreglass and make it look like polysterene so it lasts.

Crikey this thing is so badly made Shocked

Not all of them, Ian - the bomb in the perspex safe and some of the board games might be doable.

Love the golf ball!

The Secret Agent board game that Steed is forced to play has caught my attention, it might be fun to recreate that Wink
