Nice to see this ...
http://www.kinowelt.de/trailer.php?buchstabe=M&id=3429
Notice it begins with the farewell to Emma Peel (along with Emma's end theme) before exploding into the Tara trailer. Very good. _________________

I love this 'trailer' too, it's on the French dvd edition as well. _________________ I've been blessed by The Avengers! |

I love all those trailers--I first saw them on PURRR. The way they remixed the theme is fun, and they're cut together very well. _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

It's a shame those trailers weren't recut using the restored episodes as surely this is a big draw for people to buy them? The Kinowelt releases are wonderful from the packaging and booklets to the extras. Very nice work. _________________ Designer, writer & Filmmaker

I found out that SPLIT had a comment by Brian Clemens on the german dvds ! Is there a chance to have it in the following Optimum releases ? _________________ I've been blessed by The Avengers! |

I'd love to hear what Brian thinks of Split! after all this time. It's one of my favourite TKs. _________________

It's our friend Jaz's commentary, so without giving too much away, I think it's safe to say that the Split! commentary will be included in the Optimum set. _________________ Alan

Yes, it's a shame because the quality of the Emma Peel and the Tara King eras is much better, than in the trailers. People could think that they used the old restoration for the box set... _________________ Steed: "Eee-urp!!" |

I guessed there was a connection, but didn't want to say. _________________

That is quite the packaging! The outside is very swinging sixties. The inside is an odd choice for the Avengers--office files? And with questionable looking red smudges on them, to boot. Some of my Life on Mars merchandise looks like that. Has Steed gone all Gene Hunt on the baddies? _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

Nice. Think they've spoilt it with the photoshopped bowlers though. They're not Thomson and Thompson. _________________
