Umm, apart from the hairstyle, person looks completely other to me, but in this case that the camera angle (for identification) is not very good and the face may indeed look different than it seems here. Confused

Terry Barella and Valerie Cockx - good progress lately. I saw a photograph of a dancer Terry Barella in a British newspaper from 1959 - she doesn't look very similar, but maybe it's another person named Terry Barella. Wink

Excellent work! Swiss detective immediately suggested "One for the Mortuary" and I think this is he, as he's in the police chief's office:

Anthony Mayne confirmed as my detective in sunglasses with these pics:

Well, you're wrong, it's definitely him, he was often given Mexican and Spanish roles. Look at his imdb photo, it's a dead ringer for this, or check his aveleyman page.

I know Norman's face pretty well, in this frame he hardly looks like, although it could be him if we had the best shot (other angle) with him from the episode. Wink As always, Piers, if youíre sure itís him, I donít mind. Maybe you are right.

This may be a case similar to that of Harry Tierney in TNA.

My first post by link below:

The Eagle's Nest

Really curious. For many years, the person in the frame below (from Piers' website) seemed familiar to me...

...and only today I decided to watch this fragment in order to try to study the face better.

Who would have thought. Shocked
When I saw this actor in full face, I realized that it is Harry Tierney, but I did not think about him at all when I saw him in profile. Shocked

This once again proves how distorted our perception of the face can be, depending on the angle from which we are looking.

Harry Tierney

She was blonder in the 50s and early 60s then went for a darker look later, it's definitely her.

I'd be interested to see that photo, I couldn't find any of her when I searched.
Here she is in FAA:

Yes, It is quite convincing that the girl in The Avengers and in the FAA is the same person, despite some difficulties with identification due to makeup. By the way, Piers, do you know when that FAA photo was taken?

Certainly even some of us, members of the Avengers forum, have changed in appearance over the years. Wink It is always especially curious to read about the people related to the series that you either never read anything about before or knew little about. For example, I would like to learn more about Mike Stevens, who was one of Patrick Macnee's stunt doubles in The Avengers, but his Facebook page has long been abandoned and lately it seems unknown where he is.

Curious, found the following information from the link below:

https://www.wrestlingheritage.co.uk/kkoltschak.htm

Tony Kolokotroni

Wrestler Tony Kolokotroni worked the independent rings of southern England in the 1960s. At other times, as Tony Ellis, he worked behind the scenes as a fight arranger on numerous films and acted on tv as a supporting role actor in programmes that included The Avengers and Coronation Street. Tony Ellis also staged wrestling shows, mainly in London, featuring big names such as Count Bartelli in aid of charities for those facing difficulties in society.

It is very likely that the IMDb page below refers to him:

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1537221/

Alas, I cannot find what he looks like. Sad

Virginia Lester

Actress, also film and TV extra.

This was mentioned in the newspaper The West Briton and Royal Cornwall Gazette (9 April 1964), that Virginia appeared in The Avengers.

I did a search for information on Virginia, came to the following conclusion:

Birthname: Virginia Beatrice Lester.
Born: December, 1942 in Oxfordshire, England, UK.
Married on Alexander Louis Richmond Richmond-Scott in 1972.
Lives with husband in Yeovil, Somerset.

I have sent the information to the IMDB headquarters and the page at the link below has already been updated:

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1527992/

Virginia in mid 1960s.

Virginia in 1981.

Phil Ellis has suggested he may be the guy with the broken nose in "The Cybernauts" as he turns up in another production with Alan Chuntz.

That guy with the broken nose could really be a wrestler - at least that's how I perceived him. Wink Curious, if we look at the martial artists in that scene from The Cybernauts, it looks like there were almost all of the stuntmen: Joe Dunne, Alan Chuntz, George Fisher, Mike Reid, Bill Westley...

John Bailey also could well work as a stuntman, given that almost nothing is known about him.

At the moment, the only exception is Don Archell (singer, film extra, stand-in and tour manager), though even in his case, interesting to watch that he played one of the martial artists in the episode The Superlative Seven.

As for the guy in the screenshot below, I'm pretty sure it's not Bill Risley.

Finally, I just checked out some footages through Blu Ray using DVDFab Paskey (change of region), since AnyDVD HD program, which I previously used, now does not work and does not want to be connected to servers for updating.

My apologies, Piers is right - this is really Bill Risley. I immediately recognized him from these face angles in pics below:

Amazing. Apparently I still wouldn't believe it if Bill didnít turned his face and the camera didnít take the scene from different sides.

Huh, my copy of AnyDVD HD still works, maybe it's your VPN getting in the way again.

Alternatively, you could use MakeMKV to rip your discs as that uses it's own internal decryptor, if memory serves me right.

There was a problem in the building the program version AnyDVD HD I had (Russian version), since other people on the Russian forum on the topic also wrote about the impossibility of updating this version through the servers. DVD FAB Paskey as a replacement works great for me at the moment. Thanks, Piers. Wink
