Many thanks, Piers. It will be wonderful to see Oliver's photo from the 1960s, since I cannot find any pic with him from this period.

Great scan, Piers. Smile
Hmm, I analyzed all the screenshots of actors from the episodes with Cathy Gale, produced in 1964, I donít even have a hint of who he could be there. Confused

Given that this is a Spring '68 Spotlight and it doesn't mention The Avengers he was either in a bit part that he didn't bother to list (although many bit players mention the most fleeting roles), in the show after this went to print, or not in the show at all and the bio is incorrect.

Yes, Piers, it is possible that mentioned midgets are Sonia & Leonard Franks, they are suitable by age and general features of the face. Smile
But in whole there were so many members in the Lester troupe that I'm not sure we will ever be able to list everyone to be sure who played the roles. Confused

Despite, I keep trying to identify a midget with a monkey, his face is most visible in the episode. Wink

Philly has identified him as Skip Martin.

Recently, many discoveries have been made on the Moviedude website in the field of identification of performers, who appeared in The Avengers. Smile

For me, personally, the following points were great discoveries:

1. Finally, appearing Jack Le White was found (see first post in this thread). Wink

He played as Undercover Policeman in episode Girl on the Trapeze (1961).
Brilliant!!! Razz

2. Actor, who played one of Prison Officers in episode The House That Jack Built is not Alan Lake!!! Surprised Surprised Surprised

For many years, many of us, Avengers fans, thought mechanically that it was Alan, and so I was really surprised when saw that the character Prison Officer was not listed on the site Moviedude as Alan Lake. Well, after I personally analyzed this actor and soon became convinced that he is really another actor because he has smaller eyes. Yes, he looks like Gary Woolf.

3. Ha, it turned out that the one of young Hellfire Club Members was playing by Anthony Snell! .

Now it looks so obvious (when you know thanks to Moviedude). Very Happy

4. Actress, who played one of Knitters in episode The Girl from Auntie is not Patience Collier!!!

Yes, actually! Recently I analyzed, too.

Wow, look forward to. I am sure you prepared your surprises too. Wink

And..

New find:

Judy Huxtable

Actress

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0404732

This was mentioned in Kensington Post (11 August 1972), that Judy participated in The Avengers.

Don't get that excited, it's just corrections and additions in line with Dan & Phil's recent work (no, no *that* Dan & Phil).

Well, I am still excited for these updates and today made another pass through the current list of identifications for The Avengers.

My thoughts are as follows: Wink

b/w Emma Peel episodes

1. Lady Shopper in Death at Bargain Prices is not Totti Truman Taylor. I agree with Moviedude that this is an unknown actress on current time.

2. And conversely... I agree with you, Piers, that it is difficult to say whether Guy Standeven participated in episode Death at Bargain Prices in general.

3. I agree with Moviedude that Diver in Castle De'ath is not Jackie Cooper.

4. And conversely... I agree with you, Piers, that there is no Bill Westley Jr in sight in episode The Cybernauts in general.

5. Frederick David Marshall in Too Many Christmas Trees is not John Wilder.

John has deep-set eye sockets.

5. I agree with Moviedude that Old Tribesman in Small Game for Big Hunters is not John Harrison.

6. And conversely... I agree with you, Piers, that there is no Royston Farrell in sight in episode A Touch of Brimstone in general.

7. This is not Joe Dunne as stunt Double for Patrick Macnee in Honey for the Prince, but Rocky Taylor.

and not Paul Weston as stunt double for Patrick Macnee in The Town of No Return.

Part 2

color Emma Peel episodes

1. Surely, Steed's double in The Fear Merchants is not Rocky Taylor. Rocky had longer hair throughout the this filming period, while an unknown extra (pic below) have shorter hair and of a different type.

Well, if we assuming that this is Rocky in a wig, a logical answer arises: Why did the hair stylister have to do special styling for Rocky and hide his long hair, if it was much easier and faster (for time and money) to use some extra performer on the set. Wink
Alas, I think it is almost unlikely that we will ever know who this person really is. Sad

2. Philanderer in Escape In Time is not Paul Weston. This one has a longer face and other eyebrows (I analyzed the footage through Blu Ray).

3. Orher Embassy Guard in The See-Through Man is not Les White. Another type of face and eyes.

4. Yes, Guard in episode The Bird Who Knew Too Much is not Alan Chuntz as was considered for many years.
I know that you fixed it a long time ago, Piers, but I have to thank you for it, since I decided to analyze this extra for the first time only after you made an amendment.

5. One of Sparring Partners in The Correct Way To Kill is not Alf Joint. Hmm, familiar face. Confused

5. Hmm, now I have feeling that the actor in the picture below in the episode Who's Who??? is Anthony Snell. Confused

6. No, George Townsend in Dead Man's Treasure is not Bryan Kendrick.

John Wilder: the hair looks wrong to me as well.
Paul Weston: I think it's Cliff Diggins

Rocky went off and had a haircut - he has short hair in Escape in Time and in the quarry scene it's short too.

Can try to analyze these frames, where the unknown is turned into a profile. Wink

It's great, moviedude started the section for color Emma Peel episodes. Razz

Yes, well I was being facetious about the haircut but it's always a possibility. I'll have a look at my bluray and see. Probably one of the crew flaunting Equity rules, there's something unactorly about his movement from memory.

Henrietta's voice in "How to Succeed... at Murder" has been identified as being that of Bridget Armstrong but it's not her in the ballerina stills on the walls.

Here she is in "Man in a Suitcase" alongside the ballerina
