I noticed the last discussion on this topic was in 2014. I'm wondering if there's been any change since that time.

I'm watching the A&E DVDs from 1998. Every time I check Pier Johnson's site, I'm amazed at the better quality of the still images of the actors. I'd post a comparison of a shot of Diana Rigg from the Positive-Negative Man--Piers image and a capture from my A&E DVD but I can't figure out how to post images. . .

I checked Amazon with no success. Does anyone know if the better DVDs are yet available in the States?

the last 'new' release was from LIONSGATE television..who released the entire A & E Emma Peel box set..all they did was put out new graphics, and issued the olde A & E set of yrs past....myself, would love a upgraded release of BLU-ray for the U.S. Market...

Well, if that's all there is on the market, we'll have to wait. I'm just very envious of the quality of the images I see on Pier's website. I would feel as if I were watching the series for the first time. Thanks, Mousemeat!

I've just updated the Tara fashion guide with bluray captures. You're probably better off getting a multi region player to be honest, there doesn't seem to be any movement on a new US release.

I just checked the sets and series 4, 5 & 6 are all Region B with HOH subtitles.
