Now that the Christmas period has ended, we're switching to weekly banners again.
Initially, it will be the episode celebrating its 60th anniversary, updated 60 years to the day of the first TX.
That means we start with Crescent Moon, now completely lost but I've just written a new plot summary on my site.

Great the rotating banners are up again.
And I can see it, the Christmas one was just blank for me. |

Today is the 60th anniversary of the first broadcast of Girl on the Trapeze so we get that episode's banner for this week to go with the rewrites on my site:
As I noted back in October 2019, I've tried to emulate the back-and-forth swing of the titles on the banner.
As ever, if you still see the old one, hold down SHIFT (or hold down CTRL if you prefer) and click refresh. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

I did a lot of these banners a while ago and some have gone up with the older cast photos that have been replaced with my updates, I've found some truly terrific photos of the cast there were more correct for 1961.
Face that have been updated:
Brought to Book:
Redmond Bailey, Clifford Elkin, Charles Bird, Lawrence Archer
Square Root of Evil:
George Murcell, Alex Scott, Delphi Lawrence (almost NSFW)
Nightmare:
Gordon Boyd, Helen Lindsay, Michael Logan, Robert Bruce, Redmond Bailey
Crescent Moon (and here's where the banners started being out of date)"
Patience Collier*, Roger Delgado*, gorgeous Bandana das Gupta, Nicholas Amer, Jack Rodney, George Roderick
Diamond Cut Diamond:
The very delicious Joy Webster
The Radioactive Man:
George Pravda*, Arthur Lawrence, Blaise Wyndham, the very handsome John Gayford
Ashes of Roses:
Olga Lowe looking much less stern!, the exceptionally handsome Mark Eden, Peter Zander, Edward Dentith, Barbara Evans from a dancing photo shoot, Gordon Rollings from a cigarette advertisement
Please Don't Feed the Animals:
Tenniel Evans*, Harry Ross* (but it's not very different), Alastair Hunter, Mark Baker, Charles Bird, Richard Nellor and ALL NEW pictures for Catherine Ellison and Genevieve Lyons. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

John Gayford looks about twelve!!
You're right about the borderline NSFW. I don't think I could've had that on my screen at work even now!! (If we were allowed to go in to the office, which we're not.) _________________ Last watched: "The Medicine Men" |

More to come as I roll out more 60th anniversary updates. I have to say having late 50s Gordon Boyd is much better than early 80s Gordon Boyd, although I messed up the watermark removal a bit.
John Gayford's photo is one he posted himself online, there are some absolute crackers. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

Happy 60th anniversary to Dance with Death!
New 1961 era cast photos for Angela Douglas, Caroline Blakiston, Alan Barry, Norman Chappell, Ewen Roberts, the scrummy Pauline Shepherd, Geoffrey Palmer, and Alan Clare.
Brand new additions are cast photos for Ian Hobbs and Neil Wilson.
I have one for a David Sutton, father of Sid Owen, but he may be the wrong David Sutton so I've not used it. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

Neil Wilson plays a lot of policemen! I think he's even one in the first Quatermass Experiment back in 1953!
Interesting he was in multiple episodes of series 1. He was also in 2 episodes of Police Surgeon the year before:
- The Bigger They Are (1960) ... PC Grayson
- Smash But No Grab (1960) ... PC. Gregson _________________ Last watched: "The Medicine Men" |
