A few days ago I bought a VHS to DVD transfer kit. To experiment with it, I digitalised two Avengers trailers from 90s VHS releases, both by Lumiere.

The first is from The Evolution Collection and contains excerpts from not only the Peel and King era's, but also from the the Gale era and the New Avengers. A Q.Q.F. trailer in my humble opinion.

The second is from The Avengers A Retrospective, which (sadly) only covers the colour episodes. And don't blame me for the fact that it contains excerpts from LOOK - (stop me if you've heard this one) BUT THERE WERE THESE TWO FELLERS... it just happened to be that way.

I hope you like them and although there not that bad, I would like to point out that the quality of the videos is not superb because they come from videotapes.

Very good. Why not post them on YouTube?

I have, but as a special treat for forum members only, they are available in superior quality.

Thanks Allard! Trailers are always fun. I remember once on vacation I saw a brilliant one for the A&E VHS releases (this was not long after I got into the show). It set colour Emma clips to the percussion intro of the theme. Very effective. I can't wait to watch these.

I got to watch these. The Avengers one is quite good, lots of action shots of Emma. The TNA one is a little less creative--they pretty much used the two title sequences and added a few extra scenes in (albeit good ones with Purdey and Gambit). But it ended brilliantly with the "Mike Gambit, one of these days..."/"I know, I'm looking forward to it" sequence, after the music had finished, and I got a kick out of that. Made the whole thing worthwhile. Thanks for putting those up again, Allard.
