Like Joanna Lumley, Twiggy got better with age ! Saw a great photo of her when a similar age to Joanna Lumley's Purdey , and the Twig looked in great shape...a lot fitter than many thought...!

Oh, and Steed's suits are amazing and the man looks great in them. And, presumably, out of them, which we really should have had more of. But at least we got tight trousers in Too Many Christmas Trees and A Touch of Brimstone and some very nicely cut open shirts in Season 2. Yes please.

It's never too late to agree with that kind of comment above.

Yes, please, indeed! Wink

I like the PVC mac and beret that goes with the vest and pants too. They still look completely up-to-date and stylish.

I should have really credited the designer - John Bates.

Diana looks fantastic here... love to have seen Purdey in this outfit Smile

yes...and Thorson wouldn't have looked look half bad....

Thorson, such a curvaceous woman ...perhaps would have looked the most sensational in this coat ; Emma may even have the edge on Purdey in this style coat !

Recently there were two vintage Kangol "Avenger" berets on Ebay. The manufacturer from Cumberland issued a wool beret with a target motif as the one worn by Emma Peel in several episodes of series 4 in 1966.
There were at least three different colors, a dark blue one with a white ring, a white one (as worn in The Danger Makers, The Town of No Return, Small Game for Big Hunters...) and a light brown/beige one.

The item arrived.
