I'm sorry to hear that. He had a reassuring and friendly screen presence. He's in loads of my favourite series, including Public Eye and the first ever episode of Shoestring, "Private Ear". A lot of Dr Who fans say he's the only good thing about its 1972 story "The Mutants"!

A very extensive career. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0171576/

Christopher Coll always reminded me a little of the film and TV extra Peter Roy, what he would look like if he was young.

Yes, I can see the resemblance. There was a nice interview with Peter Roy on a videotape I got of a Loose Cannon reconstruction for Doctor Who - think it's on Dailymotion now. And he wrote on Facebook groups I was on before I left Facebook. Nice chap and what a CV!

Thanks for the information, Franky, I wish I knew English properly so that I could hear words with my ear (which I get only 50 percent now).
From time to time I look through the Peter Roy page on Facebook, pleasantly surprised by his unquenchable activity. Sometimes I think that Peter is the most active person on Facebook among the extras who participated in The Avengers. Smile
Aha, Franky, so did you leave Facebook? This is a curious moment. If it's not a secret, you are tired of the inconvenience of this social network (after all, for example, you often have to scroll through a page to find what you are looking for) or was there something else? Wink (I find some inconveniences with Facebook).

A lot of it made me angry especially their bad security, theft of personal data (and selling it), but also their refusal to deal with issues like terrorist groups using their pages, propaganda (like anti-vaxxers and right-wing extremists trying to overthrow the government), and other harmful content. Life is too short for the annoyance caused by such things. So0 for the sake of my blood pressure, I left Smile

Wow, these are serious problems on Facebook, many of which I did not know because in social networks I am active on VK, where, in fact, there is also little trust in the administration (bad security, theft of personal data), but there is control over the content (maybe too strict). I'm glad you gave up this "mess" for your health. Wink Forums, in comparison with many social networks, is apparently like a boarding house (especially this Avengers forum in last years). Smile

Franky, is right on the money..FB has become the 800 pound gorilla....and don't forget the censorship as well...I'm afraid FB has gotten too large and have truly wander from the original intent......of course, one can always watch the 2010 film, the social network..and draw your own conclusions
