Johnny Laycock, multi-instrumentalist and variety agent, who appeared as Izzy Pound in the Tara King episode The Interrogators, died this week at the age of 96. Crying or Very sad Johnny was a member The Comedians Golfing Society and lived in Spain for the (last) long years.

Important and interesting Facebook comments from yesterday and today:

He was 96 living in Spain, had a fall and broke a couple of bones earlier in the week, no strength to recover RIP a great character!!

Jan Williamson

Thatís sad to hear. He was my husband, Mick Antonyís agent for many years. I also remember his wife Tania. RIP Johnny😔

Koormish Foscani

When I bought my apartment in Spain on a pretty 9 hole course, as I started to play there (clubhouse was a five wood from my patio) I had a sniff at the members weekly meet and guess who showed up? Johnny used to carry a plastic bag with bread in it and on the sixth hole this duck would waddle up the fairway to greet Johnny. I played a few times with them and caught up with JL after all those years.
Small world, great days and memories.

Mike Jerome

My very first gig was in 1974 for John. I got £ I5 gros. I have a few story's about him. RIP John

Yes, it gets dismal especially when the economic crisis starts to affect the world level. I think it could reach a record soon if no compromise points are created. Sad

Recently, I tried to get back to regular work on this forum for unfinished section, but my desire quickly vanished after a short work for. Sad I think the important factor is that there are rumors that Russia might go off the Internet in the coming days - at the moment, some sources (certain sources not for the masses) call March 11th. If so, then I donít even see the point in continuing the work in the Avengers field, which in recent years I have been doing with a bias towards English-speaking fans. Really, I don't want to rehabilitate the Steedumbrella for myself, given that there is very little interest in Russia for the series in recent years.

What will i do? I'll probably be returning to music activities on a more permanent basis - at this time in Russian are very convenient conditions for creating new circles for promoting ideas. Wink Given that I'm not a newbie, and have connections like Nick, it might turn out to be something interesting. But I hope that the Internet still continues to function in Russia. Soon it will be more clear about this situation.
