Thanks for passing that on, Barbara. That's Linda's fourth Canadian TV appearance in the past three years, always in series that are made and set in Canada, which she's made a point of saying is the kind of Canadian show she wants to do. I'm always happy to see her back here again. Very Happy

I still live in hope that she'll pop up on Republic of Doyle one of these days, preferably as a villainess.

I found this shot of Linda I hadn't seen before, and quite liked it, so thought I'd pass it along.

I guess she did pull out all the stops on that organ in more than one way. Good one Franky.

Thanks for that, Barbara! Very Happy That was a really lovely interview. I love that Linda, even though she's in the States and Britain for the most part, still talks about Canada and being Canadian, and comes up and works here, as opposed to just abandoning it. It's always a treat when she pops up in something over here. Cool

Discovering the Avengers through repeats of Tara King episodes in the 1990s, that first childhood understanding of what the show was about which still defines a person's view years later to an extent, was that it was a SF/adventure show following the perils and escapades of a rather lovely secret agent heroine. Watching as a 12 year old meant that she was a grown-up figure but nearer to my age than the old guy with her, and therefore filled the role of audience identification figure. So for me as child and then early teen, The Avengers was all about a wonderful fantasy world where auntie Tara always had a new crisis to escape from and sort out with her friend Steed. As an adult fan, everything with Cathy and Emma is filed in my mind as pre-Tara and TNAs are after-Tara. With the show being one of the main factors in my fantasy/sf obsession over the years, dear Linda played (and plays) a very important role in my life as a fan. Her episode of Return of the Saint is likewise one of my favourite episodes of that series too, and in all honesty is probably a reason why that show also has such a highly valued place in my affections.
