Oooh, ties. I'm there. I spent half of this week's "Doctor Who" 1960s docudrama looking at the ties. _________________ Last watched: The Man in the Mirror. |

I've just captured my 594th image from series 3 for a new fashion guide. Now comes the hard slog of describing and collating the outfits... _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

Yes, I'll do a hats section as I did a ties section for Steed. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

oh that should be interesting. I am impressed with the fashion section. I truly forgot all the many outfits and this is a brilliant way to organise them. Thank you for all your efforts, Piers. _________________ "He likes his tea stirred anti-clockwise."

I must confess that I still have not watched about 5 episodes with Honor Blackman and I'm sure that the section from Piers corrects it. I look forward to this in-depth look at the outfit of Cathy Gale. Hats are especially admired. Earlier in Russia I saw Cathy Gale dressed in hats only on pics in newspapers and I thought it was ridiculous - unsuitable for Steed's colleague and no in style The Avengers - but when I first saw this combination on the screen, the view has changed. She particularly elegant in these hats. It was a excellent approach. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Cathy, like Tara, had a wonderful dress sense. Perhaps not as experimental as Emma, but therefore with fewer unsuccessful experiments! _________________ Last watched: The Man in the Mirror. |

I love Cathy's clothes--and her hats! Cathy was the most conservatively dressed of all the women, but her clothes are timeless. Simple, elegant, and could easily be worn today. _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

I am laughing at Timeless's well put comment. It is pretty bad to have Cathy as the most conservative dresser of all of our Avenger's girls: that is, the all leather look of hers is the most conservative. _________________ "He likes his tea stirred anti-clockwise." |

I was thinking more of her non-leather outfits--the skirts and blouses. The leather wasn't particularly conservative, no. _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

Carol is the most conservatively dressed Avengers girl...
Anyway, I have 30 outfits to go and I'm done collating the slowly evolving fashion guide to series 3 - five pages so far, probably another two as the last outfits are mostly one-offs. Maybe three pages with all those hats, so expect an eight-page guide.
I'll have to stop and write some more for Rodney first, before I do the final spit and polish before launch. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

Ah, yes, Carol is even more conservative than Cathy. Our original Avengers girl...
I'm looking forward to more fashion guide as well, including the hats! _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

Excellent news!
I already almost feel as delve into the wardrobe of the third season.
I like all the hats of the early seasons, but not all, since the fourth season.
This is particularly interesting section. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Great work, that'll come in very useful for referencing, much appreciated!
I love Cathy's regency style outfits and she had some great hats, the mini top hat and the caps. |

Yay! Great work, Piers. It's wonderful to have Cathy in there as well.
I love a lot of Cathy's wardrobe, too. She has a lot of simple, elegant lines in her clothes that make them timeless. _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?
