Great stuff, Alan! Very Happy It really is amazing that in 2013 we have a new audio series and an ongoing comic series. Who'd have guessed?

It's staggering, and a lovely thing to see happening.

Not a comic fan, so that doesn't really come onto my radar, but it's nice to know they're there.

It's not perfect, but I think it's getting gradually better issue by issue. It's giving me an excuse to go to the comic book store on a regular basis, which is always a good thing. Cool

News (albeit late!) of the latest animation, and the chance to watch it on Channel Steed!

Alan, well done, great update on The Avengers Declassified. Razz
I was waiting for when will continuation of the section "Dead on Arrival". And it happened. But the main thing - Jay graced us with my favorite unrealized project.

Brian Clemens knew what to emphasize in the mid-1980s, and frankly, remakes of Brian gets a very worthy.
Episode "Split" of 1985 would have been definitely more watchable. I think the set and the budget would show that (and if would finally added a catchy music - that every of this would only talk). It is a pity that project failed, and talented actress Sarah Lawson not went to a new level. I am confident that as the head of new series - everything would work on 10 of 10. Smile

I knew so little about this project, I suspected that much of this information is not there. Many alluded to this project and I could only dream on the script. Well, Jay, as always, gave a report to work, an essay on the topic and today in the morning I'm just doing what I study all the details of this project.

Alan, thank you for this publication.
For Jay, in which I never doubted, great honor.

Thanks Denis!

One thing: there are two Sarah Lawsons in the entertainment business (probably more!). One is an actress, but this one is a producer...

Anyone interested in reading the section, please feel free to take a look:

Great work from J. Very Happy

Alan, thanks for the clarification of Sarah Lawson.
Always thought that this is the same Sarah, who was involved in the episode "How To Succeed....At Murder". Laughing Oh, it was wonderful to believe in it until today. Wink

Thank you for the kind words, Denis. Very Happy I'm so glad you enjoyed the write-ups. I felt like I had a better handle on doing them this time having had some practice with The First Avengers Movie. I tried to pack as much information into them as possible so that it was the next best thing to reading the script yourself. Smile

Like you, I've been wondering about these scripts for years, so to read them was a real treat. I'm very grateful to Alan for giving me the opportunity to finally read them. It was a real pleasure to write them up. Cool

The site gets better and better, Alan.

Just noticed the links for Denis' site and mine are out of date though.
mine still works because it redirects, but Denis' is dead as it goes to the old free hosting domain.

Yes, Piers, Alan's site more and more surprises us with unexpected twists - you never know what will be new in the next time. Smile

Alan is aware of changes in your and my address, I think fix of links is coming soon. Wink

Jay and Richard McGinlay makes such kind of work for which we simply can not do not pay attention.
Well done!

I will say some in the style of Alan - a minority of people would be able to write such a work, as investigated even those areas which have not been thought of. Smile

Well, as I said, the main thing - there does not remain any questions after reading. As we know, a good lecture is one that does not leave after reading some bewilderment. Question

After many years, people can learn the details of the two (for today) failed projects of The Avengers. During this time, these projects have acquired various conjectures, including the one that I read somewhere in the 1990's that the project in 1985 led the actress Sarah Lawson (not the producer). I believed in it, and fantasized that she is definitely a fan of the series, once taken up this challenge. Laughing

I am sure that everyone who is interested in this topic and read Jay's work - praised his work. I certainly expect to continue. Razz

Yes, I know. I'm waiting for Denis to officially relaunch before updating the links. Smile

Didn't realise your site has moved. Will do the business, Piers.

Good, I'm glad it answered all your questions. I wanted to pack in as much as possible. I went into it trying to answer all the questions I'd have if I was reading it, so if I succeeded in that, mission accomplished. Cool

When I read the Rogers books, I never thought I'd be able to get anything more on those projects than what was already in there. I certainly never thought I'd ever have a chance to read the scripts, or actually watch Escapade. It makes me wonder what there is floating around out there on the other unmade projects. If anyone has a script for the Steed/Cathy movie, or The Avenging Angel, or the 1994 Purdey/Gambit reunion movie, I'd be more than happy to give them the same treatment. Wink

That's right!
I have not yet been formally informed Alan of relaunching the site (yes, there was agreement).
Steedumbrella was open on new hosting (for the first time on a paid) 2 september and month I experienced new services on the performance.
Hosting was the best among those where there was a website.
I am happy with his performance, capacity, and low cost. Wink

For fans of the relaunch Steedumbrella took place on September 26, although I have not finished a full checking of services. Frankly, I did not want to waste time, given the fact that in Russia a month without Steedumbrella took of a few painful. Up to the leaving of people with the Russian-speaking forum. I must was to act.

Site changed so many times free hosting that it affected on his authority in Russia. Definitely I must was to change opinion - the transition to a paid (respectively a more reliable hosting).

Today I formally informed to Alan of relaunching the Steedumbrella. Smile

Hi Piers,
THis is a trivial pursuit question but I just saw an EmmaPeeler in green with white trim (cuffs and belt) to die for. What episode was that in? Or anyone that remembers. Quite stunning.
