Fascinating stuff about Honor's time in Canada, Denis. It's great to see that she was making the rounds at the same time as Patrick was--a sign of things to come! It's a bit like the fact that Linda was in Toronto at the same time as the filming of TNA!

I believe I read that when Honor split with her husband, he stayed on in Canada, and she went back home. I don't know if that helps with the dates at all!

Honor definitely need to write its memoirs. Given that since 2012 she tells his life story in "Honor Blackman As Herself", we have a chance.
Maybe after a farewell tour? Wink

I am sure, that Patrick and Honor during the production of the Avengers enjoyed discussing about their stay in Canada in the early 1950s. Very Happy

Despite the fact that the Canadian television began broadcasting on 6 September 1952, in Toronto on September 8, Honor remembered that has done some TV work for CBC, at the time her stage performances there in spring/summer 1952.

http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=2194&dat=19641212&id=eL0yAAAAIBAJ&sjid=Uu0FAAAAIBAJ&pg=1467,4043607

Apparently, if to believe Honor memory, her TV works had to show autumn 1952, at a time when Patrick starred in the TV series The Moonstone.

Hmm, I guess when Patrick arrived in Toronto, Honor was no longer there (UK?), but Linda was definitely in Canada while filming of TNA!

Yes, they just missed Honor, who was there the year before. If they hadn't, it would have been five Avengers in TO at once. Oh, the cameo appearances... Wink

I wonder if Honor and Patrick ever did chat about their time in Canada. It wasn't that long ago when they did the show, so it'd be nice to think they did.

Honor Blackman appearing at the New Vic in Newcastle. She mentions Connery, Macnee, and how ground-breaking The Avengers was.

Honor Blackman is busy again, as she is doing some work for the BBC:

"At the moment any spare time is spent writing my memories of being a World War II evacuaee for a forthcoming BBC TV programme".

Thatís what Honor Blackman told on Dailymail.

She gave a small interview about her most memorable trips.

And from tomorrow on she's one of the guest stars on The London Film Convention celebrating the the 50th anniversary of James Bond film Goldfinger with Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore.

Honor Blackman back on TV. Very Happy
She will make a guest appearance in the second series of 'You, Me & Them', opposite Anthony Head and Eve Myles. Smile

Just watched a very strange horror film from 2012 featuring Honor in the cast, called Cockneys Vs Zombies. This did receive fairly positive reviews, despite being a bit thin on the ground plotwise. The sight of an octogenarian Honor Blackman mowing down zombies with a machine gun is a sight I never expected to see Exclamation Not Honor's best film, but worth a look. Rich.

ITV3 are repeating Never the twain starting tomorrow (Monday) at 4.15pm. Honor Blackman appeared in this alongside Donald Sinden. I've seen most British sitcoms, but this one I've never seen. Has anyone seen this? What did you think Question Rich.

Never the Twain wasn't really my cup of tea - a sitcom about two feuding antique dealers.

Just watched the first 2 episodes of Never the twain. I'm not keen either. Not very original or witty, but nice to see Honor Blackman in a sitcom. I think she was only a semi-regular and was in just 5 episodes, so I'll just watch those 5. She plays a vet called Veronica who the two male leads compete for. Donald Sinden, one of the leads, plays a character called Mr Peel Exclamation Rich.
