Can anyone direct me to footage of the launch of the Contender videos of The Avengers on You Tube?
Came across this by accident back in January and I’m now having problems locating it.
The only occasion that Patrick Macnee, Diana Rigg, Honor Blackman and Linda Thorson were in the same place.
Other attendees included Brian Clemens, Richard Bates, Roy Ward Baker, Sue Lloyd, Simon Oates, Patrick Cargill and Nicholas Grace. |

Oh bummer. That sounds really good. I have a hunch that youtube may have taken it off. I hope not, but this has happened to me several times. _________________ "He likes his tea stirred anti-clockwise." |

I'm looking for it after mentioning it to a friend on Sunday, as she and another couple of friends also appear in the footage. |

Thinking on this a little more I also remember The Avengers first producer Leonard White being in attendance, as well as Nigel Davenport and Fenella Fielding. |

Thanks Geoff
You could be right about the actual location where I saw this.
Following your link reveals that unfortunately, the file has been removed, so unless someone here recorded it earlier in the year, or late last year, this one might be out of reach. |

I just went poking around my files from the old back-ups of my long-dead computer, and I appear to have this one, much to my surprise! (And my long-lost Parting Shots download, too. I can rewatch Gareth and Joanna's only ever onscreen reunion again, such as it is. Hurrah!). It's about three and a half minutes long. Sound about right? _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

Maybe if you PM them Mike they might re-upload it? Worth a try!
There were a few recognisable faces in the clip - and not just actors
The clip length sounds about right Timeless. _________________ "No ma'm, I'm a Texan." |

I can imagine. Not in a position to do much with it just now, but I'd be willing to later this week. _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

This is much appreciated. If it can posted somewhere or perhaps emailed to me? |

Yes Geoff it was one of those recognisable faces I was with on Sunday, when we went to see Roger Moore doing his thing at The Grand Theatre, in Leeds. I would recomend anyone thinking about seeing Roger, to go it was very entertaining and covered his whole career, not just Bond. |

Sure! The file size is 53.6 MB. Do you think that would be too big to e-mail? _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

Yes I doubt that would email.
As an alternative, do you have Drop Box softwear? |

I don't. Haven't really had the need for it. If you can wait until the end of the week, I can arrange an alternative, though. _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

Sounds like you and Annette had a good time - I'm going to see him tomorrow night in Watford. Looking forward to it. _________________ "No ma'm, I'm a Texan." |

I think you'll enjoy it, but didn't you see him previously? |

I've been lucky enough to see him a few times Mike - the best being the launch of The Persuaders! on Blu-ray a couple of years ago. I take it he isn't doing any signing? _________________ "No ma'm, I'm a Texan." |
