8/10
A wonderfully daft episode. This one really pushes the envelope of the balmy and surreal. The silly recaps. Utterly bonkers and the only way was down with the series returning with Return of the Cybernauts (my ipad changed that to Cyber Aunts - now there's an unmade Avengers episode:D) which is far more serious.
It's got a wonderfully groovy score from Johnson - love to get it on download!
John Moxey's direction is quite lacking as he doesn't have much style. This episode would have flourished with wilder visuals just to celebrate the bonkersness of it. The design isn't too hot either, it looks a bit end of season budget.
Rigg and Macnee are clearly having great fun. I wonder if Patricia Haines and Freddie Jones had the stars act out the lines so they could imitate them. They do a decent job.
Thankfully the show wasn't always like this but it's great to have the variety. |

A good episode that it took me years to actually see! Patricia Haines was always a sexy villain but not when she appeared in court trying to force cash out of Michael Caine when she was dripping in gold and pleading poverty!!! Sadly she died in 1977 after fighting cancer!

So the ministry man with his floral network is credited as Major "B" but has a bee on his door, logical given the flower theme.
Did something go wrong here and should it have been Major Bee? |

Probably a witty wordplay joke at the expense of Bond's boss the Admiral known as "M" , the original "C" and his successors as head of the real life MI6/SIS, and character like "Colonel J" in The Prisoner.... _________________ Last watched: "The Medicine Men" |

gave it a ' 7 '....someone posted it was a 'daft' episode...was it ? Myself, I would say NO...it's a tad looney..but overall, fits in with that season's offerings |

It's a "10" for me. It's a great deal of fun, even if sometimes it gets a bit goofy. |
