Noob here.
I'm sure this has been asked, ad nauseum, so I apologize ahead of time for posting this query.
I'm curious to know if there is a boxed set of the entire "Avengers" series available on DVD for fans in the USA (region 1).
Does such a boxed set exist?
Thank you, in advance, for your replies! |

I'm afraid that no such thing exists, in the US at least, Louie.
The nearest you've got is the Emma Peel megaset which collects together all of Series 4 and 5 + The Forget Me Knot from Series 6.
This is the only Avengers DVD set currently in print in the USA.
Here's a list I put together for my website that'll give you a clearer picture: http://declassified.theavengers.tv/wonders_usa_dvd.htm _________________ Alan

Will do!
I've been watching re-runs of "The Avengers" on broadcast TV in Phila.,PA for the past several months. The early episodes, in B/W, with a single camera, are great!
Thanks for the info, mousemeat! |

It appears the shout facto is going to be issuing some of the saint series in the United states this spring.
Sorry if this is off topic but I thought it shows promise for more of the avengers series coming here too.

It's not too off-topic since many of the same actors and technical people worked on both shows (and I treasure the pic of Roger Moore and Patrick Macnee deep in conversation at the studios). Apprently Rog liked to pull a lot of practical jokes including some on The Avengers makers! _________________ Last watched: Tunnel of Fear. |
