I've always assumed that he was dubbed in the episode.
Robert Fuest had previously used him in the film The Final Programme (The Last Days of Man on Earth). |

I agree, his voice could be quite dubbed, it's curious that when I watched the The Midas Touch for first time (in 1997), I already thought that this performer who plays Midas acts like a Frenchman. Another question is why he did not develop himself in the French cinema and television? I remember that I tried to specifically find his French works from the side of what is posted on film bases, but to no avail. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

He was very handsome.
I see that he did an episode of US series Hart to Hart set in France. I would imagine that he did more French based work but it's just not listed on the more western focused entertainment listings. |

I have never seen him in another production. He was a great Midas. _________________ Le Monde des Avengers |

Most likely he was somewhere else on French works, and even British ones in uncredied roles. Umm, my inner instinct tells me that he appeared on the British screen more often, since he was an actor in the UK already in the early 1960s, but need to check. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.
