I just learned what it turns out managing director of RBA helicopters, John E. Underhill, was as a pilot of helicopter in tag of Avengers episode What the Butler Saw (1966). This is confirmed by the photos in the newspaper Reading Evening Post, dated by 19 January 1966.
He was dressed in the costume of Emma Peel and a female wig, although he did not get into the final footage of episode - we only watch for the stand-in of Patrick Macnee on screen.

always loved to see photos like this...as I re watch episodes...you see things...too many times, especially in the Emma monochrome era, the 'stand in' for Diana, didn't look like her..few cases, a stunt man in drag ?? (lol) I remember one scene in castle de'ath....her stand in, didn't come close..
oh well....LOL |

Ah, that's great, I think Mr Underhill is clearly visible in another episode - maybe "The Interrogators"? _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

Ah, in fact you can see John in What the Butler Saw, but not in Emma's outfit:
He's quite likely the pilot of the helicopter in Murdersville as well, when they're they're not substituting in John Ronane. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!
