Sad news and we lost all the performers from the Avengers episode Epic.

More details about Tony by Holy Trinity Sloane Square on Facebook:

Dearest Tony's final curtain call...'
With heavy hearts we record the death this week of the actor Anthony Dawes, a faithful member of the congregation of Holy Trinity in recent years.
Tony died in the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Thursday (January 21) following a short illness. He was due to celebrate his 93rd birthday next month.
An acclaimed actor, Tony has been a familiar face on stage and screen for decades and never really considered himself to have retired. One of his appearances in the Sixties' classic TV series 'The Avengers' is being aired this Sunday (January 24) on ITV4.
With his wife Lesley and daughter Stephanie, Tony never missed a Sunday service unless he was attending worship at his local church, Christ Church, Kensington. He was last with us as recently as January 10 and said how glad he was that Holy Trinity had stayed open in this latest lockdown. Last autumn when Holy Trinity was open for prayer but closed for public worship, he brought his family Sunday by Sunday to pray in the Lady Chapel.
We were fortunate that Tony agreed to take part in last year's Arts and Crafts Festival which went online owing to the pandemic. You can listen to him reading Tennyson's 'Ulysses' here.
By happy coincidence, Tony celebrated his 92nd birthday with us at our Parish Lunch at LIV Belgravia, one of many of our social events he was always eager to attend.
We will publish a longer tribute to Tony in a future edition of 'The Weekly News' along with details of funeral arrangements but for now please hold him in your prayers as he is welcomed into that place that his beloved Lord has prepared for him for all eternity and remember Lesley and Stephanie as they give thanks for a life well lived.

So sorry to hear this. ANOTHER episode now with no living cast members. Here's my list of episodes with no credited cast members still living:

Something Nasty in the Nursery (Diana and Pat were the last two.)
Who’s Who (Diana was the last surviving cast member.)
The Cybernauts (Diana was the last surviving cast member.)
Castle De’Ath (Diana and Pat were the last two surviving cast members.)
Death at Bargain Prices (Diana was the last surviving cast member.)
The Thirteenth Hole (Diana was the last surviving cast member.)
Surfeit of H2O (last: Geoffrey Palmer, died Nov. 5, 2020 age 93.) (Uncredited boy is Steve Morely, born 1953 and still living as of Jan. 2021)
Epic (Anthony Dawes, the last. Died Jan. 21, 2021)

As I wrote, these are CREDITED cast members. Some of the minor roles and unknowns may still be living. It's sad to see this list growing longer . . .

sorta mind boggling...watch some episodes, and knowing everyone has passed away..and some of the episodes listed, I'm very fond of...like 13th hole...castle de'ath, the hour that never was...epic, etc....there will come a time, in the future, where everyone connected to the show, will have passed...including myself...

Thanks for this research, J.Mac3. Alas, time flies quickly and soon it will be easier to make a glance at the Avengers episodes where someone still alive.
By the way, it is curious that when many years ago I conducted the first reasearch on the topic "Avengers episodes with a live cast of credited performers", I did not find anyone for The Avengers. But there was one from The New Avengers - Gnaws.

I wondered about which episodes still have "survivors" and which do not. But thought it a bit morbid to list it out. Yet thanks for composing the list.

I know, it IS morbid I suppose but it's also a way to celebrate those actors still with us. Here's the complete list for the Peel B&W and color episodes. (I'm considering credited cast members only. There may be minor or unknown actors still living.)

NO surviving (major) cast members:
Something Nasty in the Nursery (Diana and Pat were the last two.)
Who’s Who (Diana was the last surviving cast member.)
The Cybernauts (Diana was the last surviving cast member.)
Castle De’Ath (Diana and Pat were the last two surviving cast members.)
Death at Bargain Prices (Diana was the last surviving cast member.)
The Thirteenth Hole (Diana was the last surviving cast member.)
Surfeit of H2O (last: Geoffrey Palmer, died Nov. 5, 2020 age 93.)
(Uncredited boy is Steve Morely, born 1953 and still living as of Jan. 20201)
Epic (Anthony Dawes, the last. Died Jan. 21, 2021)

ONLY ONE REMAINING cast member:
The Joker (Sally Nesbitt)
The Maneater of Surrey Green (Gillian Lewis)
The House That Jack Built (Michael Wynne) (possibly Griffith Davies)
Dead Man’s Treasure (Norman Bowler)
Death’s Door (Michel Faure–possibly dead)
The Return of the Cybernauts (Aimi MacDonald)
The £50,000 Breakfast (Anneke Wills)
The Girl From Auntie (Bernard Cribbins)
The Master Minds (Frank Mills)
Small Game for Big Hunters (Ester Anderson)
Too Many Christmas Trees (Jeanette Sterke)

TWO REMAINING cast members:
The Hidden Tiger
The Winged Avenger
The Hour that Never Was
The Bird Who Knew Too Much
The Town of No Return
The Living Dead
Murdersville
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Station
Never Never Say Die (+2 minor characters)
The Fear Merchants
The See-Through Man
Mission…Highly Improbable
Dial A Deadly Number (Peter Bowles and Tina Packer!)
Honey for the Prince
A Sense of History. (Patrick Mower and Bette [Peter] Bourne.)
Two’s a Crowd (Julian Glover, Maria Machado)

THREE REMAINING cast members:
The Positive-Negative Man
From Venus with Love [possibly only two]
Never Never Say Die
Escape in Time
The Murder Market (Diana’s first ep!)
How To Succeed AT Murder
Quick-Quick Slow Death

FOUR REMAINING cast members:
The Superlative Seven (possibly five)
The Gravediggers

FIVE REMAINING cast members:
The Forget-Me-Knot (interesting and appropriate that the last Emma Peel episode has the most cast credited cast members still living.)
