I was wondering if there were any scripts available online? I was wanting to do an Avengers "murder mystery" game on my birthday and hopefully set it around an episode getting quests to play parts.

Thanks

There are script PDFs for the buyer's personal use on the new UK DVD releases.

Try as I might, Timeless - I can't see how to download those. There don't appear to be any links.

There's a "read" link at the end of the description for each episode. I may do a format change at some point, when life isn't kicking me around so much, and have the download link be on the title of the episode instead. But they're there. I'll repost them here, though.

Sorry, Timeless. Was looking at them in your "archive" section - which doesn't have links as far as I can see.

Thanks for the links here. Much appreciated. Cool

I have a few, basically those that had been unearthed prior to the new Optimum DVDs, which have the full set.

A Change of Bait
Death of a Batman
The Girl from Auntie
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Station

I prefer the camera script to the rehearsal scripts myself, as it give more cast & crew information; what I'd love to see is both the rehearsal and the camera script for all episodes, but I suspect that will remain an unfulfilled dream.

Camera scripts are great for production information - but sometimes they are terrible for actually working out what was meant to be going on on screen, in terms of actor moves.

I'd agree - the ideal would be a camera and a rehearsal script for each episode. Unfortunately, I don't think there are many instances where that's the case - a pity. Series 1 in particular would benefit from a few rehearsal scripts being available to answer questions...

Is it possible to get hold of a copy of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Station? Its one of my favourites and I think it would be funny to do Very Happy.

I don't think I have ever seen a camera script before, is it similar to a normal script but with directions and camera angles.

A camera script will detail camera shots and moves and when the shot should change from one to another. It will denote the scene, characters involved, plus all the scripted dialogue with only minor explanation of what is actually happening in front the cameras. Some scripts are better than others in this respect.

Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of A Funny Thing to hand. Hopefully someone else can help you out, Hans.

Any script would do, just as its fun - I want to do game, get people to play parts (kind of a murder mystery game thing), so a script which would suit this would be great Smile.

Sounds like "Dressed to Kill" would be ideal! It's a fairly claustrophobic location and there are hidden motives aplenty. Plus costumes Smile

That looks great, I haven't seen that episode - slowly making my through the second series at the moment Smile

I might end up going through an episode and jotting down what's said and what happens, and and and make one up.

Thanks!

Have you got the new DVDs from Optimum, Hans? I ask, because they have scripts on them that are accessible via a computer DVD-ROM drive.

No problem, Alan--only took a moment to link them up. I hope they prove useful. Very Happy

It's interesting to see what they leave in, take out or change for the final episode.
