I'm looking forward to seeing 'The Avengers A Retrospective' particularly because of Patrick Macnee's involvement.
Please can you tell me which disk that is on, Rhonda?

Disc 7. It's quite funny because at one point Patrick continues his sentence after a break of several long clips!

Thanks! I've watched so few of the extras. I'll prioritise this one!

I haven't watched many extras yet either. I've seen this retrospective before on channel 4. (I think!) Very interesting if I remember. One extra I did enjoy was The Hothouse with Diana and Harry H Corbett. I'm sure I read somewhere that after they'd dropped Liz Shepherd and were on the hunt for the right Mrs Peel, Diana was spotted on tv in this play, and the rest is history! Rich.

Oh yes! I must watch that too. I'm also working my way through another DVD set, "The Sentimental Agent" which has another very early Diana Rigg appearance.

I haven't bought this season's remastered set before because I was waiting for problems to be resolved. Am I now safe buying this from Amazon?

I should think so, especially if you get it from Cavalcade-of-DVDs seller there, which is Canal itself.

I bought this from cavalcade from play.com about a year ago. It was the corrected V3 set, so you should be fine. Rich.
