Yes, I remember well that that had happened to you, Piers. To be honest, you have more justification of being annoyed than I do, with that being a commercial product. _________________ Alan

That is pretty good. I have next to no talent for making stuff like this, so I'm always in admiration of people who can. How do you think he'd fare against Henrietta, I wonder? _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

Ha! That's really rather nice! Nice idea, even if the execution is a little too polished! _________________ Alan

You can tell they tried to blur it up a little and make it wobble a bit to "age" it, but yes, it does look a little too clean, doesn't it? But I quite like it, and it's a good idea, particularly since TNA arguably owed more to the Gale era than the Emmas in a lot of ways. Makes me wonder what a TNA circa 1961 would have looked like (if you got around the problem of Gareth and Joanna being a couple of teenagers at the time, of course ). _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

I can take Daniel and Kylie, actually. It's the other two that make me want to high-tail it in the opposite direction. _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

Too right. Uma already ruined "Dr" Peel, we don't want her doing the same to the immortal Cathy! _________________ Last watched: "The Medicine Men" |

Very nice. I especially loved the Diana and Patrick reel with all the This Is Your Life and other footage. I'd never seen the one where PMcNee reviews the final goodbye from Forget-Me-Knot. Most touching. _________________ Last watched: "The Medicine Men" |

I've just added a bunch of YouTube videos to my site - 10 episodes of "The New Avengers" which some guy called Stephen Nicholas has on his channel (series 1 - all but the 'last' 3), plus all of my Venus song videos (which were already there but just embedded rather than popping up in a lightbox).
http://www.dissolute.com.au/the-avengers-tv-series/news.html
I'll add the "Mrs Peel... You're Needed" snippets (and maybe the tag scenes as well) to the relevant episodes when I'm able, in place of the stills for those scenes that are currently there.
What do you think? Should I add a "best scene" video for each episode? and if so, how do I possibly decide *that*??? (or have the time to do it). _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

Grumble grumble... all but 5 of my 53 "The Avengers" videos on YouTubed have been marked with copyright infringement notices; I've had to challenge them all individually... *sigh*
To their credit, Google seem to be upholding my challenge and slowly removing "worldwide blocks".
Speaking of which, are they really blocked?
Can some one have a quick whip through series 5, or the Venus Smith episodes from series 2 and see if any of them are blocked at all?
I can see them, but it might because I'm the owner and Google is somehow detecting I'm logged in on my devices. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

I just checked some of your videos from season 2 & 5, Piers, everything is in order.
It is a pity that Google considers this stuff to blocking, this is a great loss for attracting new audiences to the series.
Last year I lost my videos The Avengers on Youtube. When I re-uploaded videos, my account was blocked. Since that time, I had to upload the video to other resources.
Hope for the best, Piers! _________________ Denis |
