I know I ought to know who this stuntman/arranger is but the name eludes me.
Can anyone help? Jaz? Mike?
He's helping Patrick come to grips with a bow in "The Master Minds" here. Is he one of the Havoc team?

It's from the stills gallery on the new blurays, which contain tons of shots I've never seen before.

Hi Piers

Interesting, earlier this actor perceived as Billy Cornelius.
I spent a long years to determine who is he, but I could not. Sadly, Sad watching the classic TV series such as The Danger Man, The Saint, etc, not helped, seems his there not.Confused I could not detect this actor anywhere except The Avengers.

He also played in episodes:

Dial a Deadly Number

The Cybernauts

Small Game for Big Hunters

Piers

I'd go with Billy Cornelius, there are several places on the web where he's named as being uncredited in Small Game for Big Hunters and The Cybernauts.

Thanks Mike, I thought it was Billy as well, but Denis has sent me a photo of a tall ginger haired man that he thinks is Billy.

IMDB is no guide as they list him as the executioner in Escape in Time, which is clearly Terry Plummer.

I will try reaching out to Jaz as he's seen many of the photos, he might be able to tell us is there was anything written on the back of them if he saw the originals.

Many thanks.

He's in Dial a Deadly Number because he's a stunt motorcyclist.

Sadly, Piers, I'm trying for a long time to convince the administration of IMDb to correct some errors in cast of episodes on global movie base, but to no avail. Nevertheless, recently they are removed Billy Cornelius from episode Small Game for Big Hunters, good sign. Wink

It will be a great thing if we will know who is this person. I believe that Jaz can really help with this identification.
Sometimes I have thought that this person (aka Billy) had participated in wrestling, if we will analyze his role in the episode Dial a Deadly Number.

Piers, for curiosity, here real Billy in 1965.

1963

Absolutely!

And you did good finding, Piers, it's exactly Billy in Super Secret Cypher Snatch, cheers. Smile

Thank you Margo. I wonder if it appears that this person is indeed a well-known face at the time (Piers should be right). Wink

The story is similar with Terry Richards.
We have long thought who is this stuntman

and once info was found on Rex Features, where was mentioned his name in the episode The Murder Market

Researches have been made and the person confirmed.

Hope we will solve other mystery as well. Very Happy

Piers, a surprise for you.

I think Martin in From Venus With Love is Joe Powell.

Wonder, if Jaz will confirm it.

Jon Auty informs me that my guy with the bow and arrow is George Fisher.

More excitingly, he's planning an event which I'll let him announce so stay tuned...

Great news, Piers, one of the ancient mysteries, British stuntman George Fisher, was revealed. Smile Many Thanks to Jon Auty and you for provision of information.
It's curiously to see that George Fisher also played in episode 'Element of Risk' of series "The Persuaders!". I have not re-watched this series for many years.

I am looking forward to the planned Jon Auty's event - can't imagine that being prepared! Wink

I'd love to see old editions of Spotlight put online, I have one edition which I'm hoping to find time to scan.
