Sadly, already the fifth day the hosting http://freespace.virgin.net is no available in usual access for me, where located the website of Ian Beazley, one of the great collectors of Avengers memorabilia.

http://freespace.virgin.net/thing.umajigs/index.html

Hmm maybe it's only my problem, but if no, hope that the situation will soon improve. Well, because I can not get there even through Wayback Machine. Catastrophe! Sad

Many thanks, Piers.

We have lost a unique site, dear fans. Sad

It is still available through the cache for text:
(for example)

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:A7oQTyb-kBYJ:freespace.virgin.net/thing.umajigs/page4.html+&cd=5&hl=ru&ct=clnk&gl=ru

Now I will do a copies of the pages for the archive.

You could try emailing the author. If you click Просмотреть исходный код (view source) in your cache link you'll see he has xxxxxxxx xx xxx xxxxxxxxxx.

Virgin Freespace users had the chance to move to GoDaddy but even if he hasn't migrated he may still have the source.

Thanks, Ian.
I already tried xxxxxxxxx xxxx, there is mistake:

[redacted]

It would like to believe that Ian Beazley will move the material to GoDaddy, but little chance actually - the website has not been updated for a long time. Sad

Yes I noticed that ... 15 years if the source is correct! I guess he lost interest.

Fingers crossed you get a response from the other address.

Very sad that we have lost another Avengers website. Sad

Please note that I have removed Ian's email addresses from this thread. It is not appropriate to share personal details such as those in public.

Sad news, dear fans. Sad

I received the following message today, as for another mailbox of Ian Beazley:

We are unable to deliver the message.

Your message was sent to a mailbox that does not exist.

Now it seems remains the only way - to try to find out things from the people with whom he was in contact.

Today in morning I began to check the links to the websites and found that it is very likely, dianarigg.net was closed! It still worked on December 28th.

Now, if I try to go in, I get a message:

Name Error: The domain name does not exist.

Fortunately this is available through the Wayback Machine, although most of their images are missing.

Many Thanks for information, Ian!

I noticed that for the past two years some images that were earlier were missing on the site. Sadly, says that the project was fully abandoned long ago.

Another website we probably lost is the famous one in its time, The Avengers Soundpage. I remember how often I went to this site listening to different soundtracks from the series.

http://members.tripod.com/~avengers_soundpage/

I visited this site for the last time in the autumn of the last year. The day before yesterday I found this no longer worked.

Message on page:

undefined

Moreover, no entry to the site through Wayback Machine. Surprised

Yes, dear Avengers fans - Wayback go to:

Sorry.

This URL has been excluded from the Wayback Machine.
