Last news on IMDb

1. I found out that Pat McDermott, hair stylist on Tara King episode Love All (1969), died in 2015. Sad

Patricia McDermott became famous in the world as the creator of hairstyle for Princess Leia in Star Wars. Yes, exactly McDermott came up with the iconic “cinnamon buns”. Smile

2. Graham Cruickshank

It was a surprise, it turns the person known as Graham Cruickshank, who played extra in the episode The Sell-Out, was actually Graeme Cruickshank, stage manager.

There is an interview with him, dated 2006, where he tells about his past. Very interesting material, I must say.

He several times mentions his work as an extra on TV in 1960s. For example, one of fragments:

For the next two or three years, I was doing, in between other things, a lot of walk-on and extra work on television, which... There are a few interesting stories about that, because, in those days, most of the programmes went out live or things like that, but I mustn’t go into that now, but if anybody ever wants to talk about the 1960s television, I have quite a bit of experience as an extra and walk-on, where you see a lot of things going on.

http://sounds.bl.uk/related-content/TRANSCRIPTS/024T-C1142X000119-0001A0.pdf

So, Graham Cruickshank

Full name: John Graeme Cruickshank

Born: August 25, 1932 in England, UK
Died: December 8, 2016 (age 84) in Christchurch, New Zealand

He was married to the dancer Joy Fisher.

3. Graeme Clifford

Full name: Graeme David Clifford
Born: September 27, 1942 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (new info are day and month).

Oops, sad news, ladies and gentlemen: The Toronto Star Archive is no longer available through the Proquest Archiver. Sad I tried to use their service a week ago (for new studies in the field of Canadian actors of TA/TNA), but it looks like they have already stopped working since I could not make a payment through my card there, as I did before.

Information on the Toronto Star Archive page at Proquest Archiver reads the following since today:

This service is no longer available. To access the Toronto Star Archives, please visit https://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/detail.jsp?Entt=RDMEDB0196&R=EDB0196. Please note that you will need a library card. If you have any questions, please contact us at syndicate@torstar.com.

http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/thestar/search.html

Yes, now, like the case of newspaper Globe and Mail, you need a library card to use it - there is no more public pay access for everyone.

John Hussey

Actor, played Peters in episode Get-A-Way! (1968).

Died: September 8, 1995 in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

Most likely, full name of actor was John Terence Hussey, and he born in 1923 in London, England, UK. However, it is necessary to check in the future (at the moment I was unable to gather sufficient evidences).

Sent the information for his date and location of death to the IMDb.

Just found the info for other famous construction manager.

Charles Hammerton

Construction Manager of all Emma Peel color episodes from block A.
