Right now I'm studying of episode The Correct Way to Kill for coming posting on Steedumbrella. Before start watching different versions of the episode on the video, I again decided to investigate the topic "magazines in the stand".

Earlier, I was able to find only four magazines:

French weekly news magazine "Jours de France" No. 400, released on July 14, 1962. Was published from November 1958 - 1989.

Italian weekly magazine "Oggi" No. 27, released in the summer of 1963. It published since 1945.

English magazine "Do it Yourself", released in September 1965.

The French weekly magazine "Point De Vue Images du Monde" No. 726, released on May 11, 1962. The first issue was published in 1945.

Now found another one. Wink

The French women's magazine "Marie France" No. 98, released in April 1964. The first issue was published in 1944 - started as a weekly magazine and turned into a monthly magazine in April 1956. Since February 2013, the title is part of the Reworld Media group.

P.S./ It is interesting if at least one of the magazines on this stand belongs to 1966. I will continue my search. Wink

It's funny that one of the simplest searches for me seemed to the weekly German magazine Stern, considering that it is very common on the Internet. They changed the logo to the one that appears on the magazine in the episode, from the end of 1959. Today I spent a lot of time searching for this number, but still to no avail. Confused

If someone has an interest to search to it too, post your findings here in this thread, please. Smile

In time I will posting the magazine covers here from other episodes.

Another one from magazine stand:

Spanish weekly news magazine "La Actualidad Espaņola" No. 742, released on March 24, 1966. Was published from 1952 - 1979.

Yes, this one is the most recent at the time. Very Happy

On moment only Dr. Watson, but I will try. Wink

Unfortunately Dr Watson can not calculate many titles of the magazines on this stand, too. Smile Only several (except mentioned in posts above), many thanks to DVD Optimum:

1. Alba
2. True Story
3. L'Europeo
4. Revue
5. Constanze
6. Quick

We will see if today or tomorrow something is revealed. Wink

Episode The Correct Way to Kill - table with magazines in the receptionist.

Found:

British monthly magazine "Flair", telling about the fashion and published from 1960 - 1977.

Makes me think that citizens of "Avengerland" in the mid-1960s liked to read relatively old magazines. Very Happy

Unfortunately, in last hour only one update has been done in the field of the magazine stand in the episode "The Correct Way to Kill" (it's a magazine titled TV Illustrazione), but I will do a regular search in future. Wink

P.S./
OK, tomorrow a big event for the Avengers fans - the release of the episode Tunnel of Fear on DVD. Razz Looking forward for the first fresh news. Smile

Oh, after many attempts I could not identify the title of the magazine on the table of the Stone's family in the episode The Murder Market by DVD Optimum. Sad

Looks like "Tatler" to me.

Update:

Compare with the images on tatler.com/gallery/100-years-of-tatler-covers.

It looks very much like an early sixties Tatler.
