I recently came across these pictures of Linda Thorson as Tara King. I’m not sure if they are “rare” but I haven’t seen them before.
Steed testing an FF-70 rifle in “Invitation to a killing”
Steed and Tara in her Lotus Elan+2 while shooting “The Great Great Britain Crime” (I guess)
This one I’m not sure to which episode it belongs, but some time ago I read that the original tag scene of “Split!’ was later replaced by the one we get to see in the episode’s final cut. Apparently, a few seconds of it have survived in the “Introducing Tara King” promotional clip (where Tara kisses Steed on his cheek and then sips milk straight from the carton)

The 1st photo was in Dave Rogers Ultimate Avengers book, i believe. If not that one then the Complete Avengers book. (memory not being as it was!). He shows some comparison shots between the original Invitation... ep. and remake Have Guns...and this is one.
The 2nd photo i have not seen before either and is a good find.
The 3rd is, as you say, from the Thorson promo. i have also read about unused tag scenes and I vaguely also remember something about Split! too. |

 | Those killer legs.
The ding says "Keep Smiling". Not hard to do, in these circumstances! _________________ Last watched: Tunnel of Fear. |

I just came across this wonderful site: http://home.scarlet.be/~pvandew1/inhoud.htm
Unfortunately I don’t speak a word of Dutch, but I still managed my way through its multimedia section. There are a lot of pictures there, but I selected a few of them which I had never seen before.
Invitation to a killing
The Great Great Britain Crime
The Curious Case of the Countless Clues
Have Guns Will Haggle (tag scene)
I couldn’t identify this one

The black and white pictures show director of photography Gilbert Taylor working on “The Great Great Britain Crime”. These pictures belong to a scene from that unaired episode in which Steed, Tara and Cartwright assess the possible alternatives Intercrime may consider in order to commit the heist. It later made it into the final cut of Homicide and Old Lace (colour still at the end of this post)
The pictures were posted on the Facebook group “The Avengerians”

Nice shots! Paul Weston as Macnee's stand-in but I can't put a name to Tara's. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!
