Yesterday I worked on the episode The Living Dead for website and found that even on the DVD Optimum it is noticeable that in the middle plan Paul Weston understudied Patrick Macnee as Steed in Bentley.

Well, usually he was stunt driver for Patrick Macnee in season 5, but in this case he just gets up from his seat in Bentley. Smile

In the colour Rigg episode titles when you see the clink of the champagne glasses, it’s his hand you see holding the glass in the close up.

Wow, that's the news. Shocked Many thanks for this information, Mariocki! Just for curiosity, Paul was personally talking about? Wink It was recently?

It was last July but yes, he talked about it personally. He did mention who was doubling for Diana Rigg’s hands in that shot but I can’t remember the name now.

Many thanks for information. Now when I will watch the opening titles of color Emma Peel episodes, my thoughts will be on Patrick Macnee, Diana Rigg and Paul Weston. Smile Have the assumption that since Paul Weston did clink of the champagne glasses, maybe Emma Peel's hands belong to Annabelle Covey (also known as Annabelle Heath and Annabelle Wise), who was the stunt driver and probaly stand-in for Diana in first block of season 5. Hmm... Confused

Now I watch the episode The Hidden Tiger, and discovered that in many scenes Paul Weston are as a stand-in and stunt driver for Patrick Macnee. Most surprisingly, I have not yet discovered Rocky Taylor in this episode at all - apparently he will appear by the end of the episode as a stuntman.
Yes, it's well demonstrates that at certain production point, Paul Weston began to appear on the screen more often than Rocky. Smile In the mentioned episode, Paul almost the star!!! Very Happy

This is he with collegue exploring the grounds of Sir David Harper, it's he going to Purrr, this is he examining the body of Walter Bellamy, etc. Smile

I watched the episode The Hidden Tiger to the end, and came to interesting conclusions: it's very possible that Paul Weston understudied Patrick in all the scenes, where it was required.
There's only one footage where Rocky could be - it's a run of Steed from the van to the fence and climbing through it. I was not able to identify the understudy on the DVD Optimum in this footage, but I'm sure many who have Blu Ray will be able to do this at the next point:

As for Diana Rigg's understudy, she looks like her driver, which says it's more like Annabelle Covey. Hmm... Confused

Thanks to Moviedude (http://movie-dude.co.uk):
Stand-in for John Woodvine in the episode The Murder Market is Jack Mandeville.

A new discovery. Razz Yesterday I learned that famous stand-in and extra, Chris Bunn, participated in TNA.

Chris told the following at Whitby Sci Fi & Comic Con- Round Up (held by 28 November 2015).

https://www.thefilmagazine.com/whitby-sci-fi-comic-con-round-up/

...Chris was also once a stunt double for Joanna Lumley in The New Avengers: “we were in the dressing room and one of the crew came in and asked if anyone could fit into a size 7 woman’s boot, and I’m a size 8 so I said I’ll try, two cans of talc later and I got them on. Then I was told to take them off again and put on red tights and a mini skirt. I was going to run through a field of machine gun fire as Joanna Lumley’s double.”

It is very possible that Chris participated as a stand-in in TNA much more, than only one time. Wink

Facebook page of Chris:

https://www.facebook.com/chris.bunn.58/timeline?lst=100006241837919%3A100001823392310%3A1547804463

Selected works of Chris:

Chris started working in the film business in 1974 when he joined Central Casting and has gone on to work in some of the most popular movies of all time . His first film was 'The Slipper and the Rose' and then he went on to work in James Bond films ('The Spy Who Loved Me' , 'Moonraker' and 'The Living Daylights'). Chris also worked in two Superman movies (Superman I and II) where Chris played a policeman in the first film. He has done numerous war films including 'Dirty Dozen Next Mission' , 'Force 10 from Navarone' , 'Ike The War Years' , 'The Eagle Has Landed' and 'Aces High' and has worked in some very popular TV shows over the years such as The Sweeney, Minder and mentioned The New Avengers. He has been in a many of the very popular 'Carry On' films also.

Chris also was a body double for Lewis Collins on the TV series 'The Professionals' and was a body double for Kirk Douglas and a hand double for Harvey Keitel in the science fiction film 'Saturn 3'. Chris has done stand in work also for Timothy Dalton in 'Agatha'.

Another very popular film series that Chris has worked on has been the 'Star Wars ' original trilogy where Chris was the original Stormtrooper in 'Star Wars A New Hope' and also played an astronaut in the famous cantina scene in the same film. Chris also went on to work in the sequels 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi'.

Hmm, I just now more closely studied one of the photos from set "The Cybernauts" that can be found in some online archives, such as Shutterstock. Looks like John Wilder was one of stand-ins for Patrick Macnee.
