Well, the next three episodes are a bit delayed because I have a HEAP of extra identifications to drop in for the whole of the original run (series 1-6).
I've added 33 more extras in The Living Dead but have little hope of identifying them as even with the bluray they're fairly indistinct.
Unfortunately, I lost all my Picasa data so the identification work I had done in there will all have to be done again, plus there are photos for missing series 1 actors from my 1953 edition of Spotlight to add as well.
Wish me luck! _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

no chance of something like "system restore" I suppose (to go back to an earlier timepoint)?
If its any consolation, I sometimes do things better the second attempt.
Good Luck! _________________ Ron

Thanks but no - I deliberately wiped my app data to do a windows reset without backing it up. Gone forever, I think. (There are still .picasa files floating about so you never know... maybe I'll give it another try.) _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

It's impressive, Piers, a HEAP of extra identifications, and 33 more extras in The Living Dead, I will look to follow the news.
Sorry to hear about the loss of Picasa data , a lot of work. I would like that there was a way to recover, but at windows reset is as I think only little possibility for back... bit part of archive. I once tried to do a restore using different programs, I spent the whole day and returned only 10 percent of images and one sound track from 20.
I wish you great luck, maybe you find a way.
By the way, I've spent the last two days at the identification of guy in The Living Dead, and... hmm, I'm started to doubt that this is Peter Brayham.
Based on "From Russia with Love"
some other identifications in online seems to the doubt.
For example, I believe that this is he in "Danger Man" (Fish on the Hook):
and in The Servant (1963),
but as for Alfie and Danger Man (episode A Date with Doris) - no fact.
Nevertheless, Piers, this is only my opinion, wondering how you came to the conclusion for identification of Peter Brayham? _________________ Denis

Happy Bithday, Piers. I wish a great memorable holiday to you.
I just leafed through all the episodes of 4 series on your site - the excellent finds: Tony O'Leary (the person was initially very familiar to me, but I could not get to the truth ), Peter Rendell, Dickey Luck and many others. Brilliant! Many thanks.
The main highlight for me, I should admit - identification of Mike Stevens. Cheers!
Note for Avengers fans:
Below, photo of Mike Stevens (double of Patrick Macnee in many episodes of 4 series: The Gravediggers, Room Without a View and others, played as actor in episodes The Gravediggers and Castle D'eath).

My congratulations, Piers, from now your site contains a full set of Avengers tape and film material.
In addition to studying the section, I looked at the cast page - well, I could not identify anyone other than those that you have already identified. _________________ Denis |

Yes, I know, fixing the navigation and pathway today. Fixed now unless you have the site cached. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

My congratulations to you, Piers, as for adding new pages on your website. The material looks wonderful.
I also always thought that Diadem & Der Goldene Schlüssel were produced later than in 1966. _________________ Denis |

Thanks Denis, yes I think they must have been made in '68 or '69.
In fact, it can't have been made in '66 because she drives a Mercedes 250SL Automatic in several scenes and production of that model started in December 1966 and the model wasn't launched until the Geneva Motor show in March 1967.
I'll see if I can check the car against Wiki to see which variation it is but the footage isn't exactly HD! _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

Great news!!! Found the answer when Das Diadem & Der Goldene Schlüssel were shot and moreover...
I'll start with, that anyone who thought that these films were made later than 1966 were.... Right.
Well, really, it’s hard to imagine that they were shot in 1966 in West Germany, at the least due to facts that the first Avengers episode (with Emma Peel) was transmitted in West Germany on October 18, 1966 and the German television channel ZDF showed only 5 episodes in 1966. It turns out that the Germans were so impressed by Emma Peel that literally only after one or two-three episodes on the German screens did they offer Diana to star in Germany with their money?
The first clue for my investigation was an article from magazine Bravo (№44, 28 October 1968), where said the following on this topic:
http://deadline.theavengers.tv/schirm.htm
translation in english:
If that is not enough, you can now buy individual Emma-film "for home use": 8mm movie that was filmed in Duisburg and Mülheim an der Ruhr with Diana. It lasts five minutes and is called "The Red Key" (my comment: actually, The Golden Key). Ten such short films for everyone with Diana are planned.
Original of this article from Bravo here: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/5Mk4/UgryE1M31
This article is posted on the well-known website of Mike Noon and although it does not indicate when The Golden Key was shot, the information in the article gave me good evidence when I studied the note from the newspaper Hamburger Abendblatt (28 August 1968):
translation in english:
The new series will be shot on film.
Hamburg, august 28
Diana Rigg, "impact force" Emma Peel from "The Avengers", wants to penetrate the new film series into the living quarters of German citizens. Her clever manager Jerome Banks decided not to pinch his Star on television and gave permission to copy the ten-episode series to Super-8 film so that any movie projector owner could watch it at home.
Filming of the series will begin in early September in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Emma, who prefers theater rather than television or cinema, persuaded the manager that she would play her part by imitating facial expressions. The first films will appear on September 28th by "Photokina Köln". All episodes are individual films and can be shot in color.
Original of this article from Hamburger Abendblatt here: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/4GaY/2fixB6mEB
and finally, information from back cover of magazine Bravo (№3, 13 January 1969) here, translated in english:
What she has learned as Emma Peel, Diana Rigg proves in her new film: the handling of heavy weapons and heavy boys. The film was filmed at Schloss Hugenpoet in Kettwig/Ruhr. If you like Diana Rigg for your home theater, you can buy the movie in the photo shop soon.
Result:
1. Summer news of 1968 said that a 10-episode film series with Diana was planned for release at 8mm, starting since late September.
2. Filming the episode "Der Goldene Schlüssel" took place in September or first half of Autumn (and maybe bit later) at the least in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Duisburg, and Schloss Hugenpoet in Kettwig.
3. Diana personally wanted to play her part by only imitating facial expressions.
4. This was planned for release on "Photokina Köln" initially.
5. Der Goldene Schlüssel was on sale already by Autumn 1968 (maybe already since late September).
6. Das Diadem was on sale no earlier than 1969 (mostly likely since Winter 1969).
