Yesterday, the new lineup of the Russian group, Third Breath, gave a musical concert (we rehearsed for about a month) with my participation and today I returned to Avengerland.
It's funny that the organizer of the event made the price of 500 rubles (6,67 eur) for everyone only for attending this concert (usually it is two times cheaper for this kind of folk concerts), as if we were famous club musicians. As a result, we came under a very big responsibility, especially when critic Andrei Shemyakin did visit.
Photo from soundcheck on event:
New page on Steedumbrella: TV premieres in Socialist Republic of Croatia. Managed to calculate four episodes from color Emma Peel episodes.

By the way, Alexey Sidorov, one of the co-founders of Steedumbrella, was at this event and witnessed how one of those present suddenly began to tell the public that I am an Avengers fan and after, to advertise me in this field. At that moment I was about to leave the event temporarily so that someone from the public would not question me in this area (well, it was a musical event, and the Avengers theme was out of place at all), but everyone present was perplexedly listening to it, and as I understood no one was interested in finding out the details of what was going on. So I sighed with relief and continued talking to people about the music. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Update for the screenshots of the second season's menu from 2002 French DVDs on Steedumbrella:
From now, when clicking on the mentioned screenshots on the page by link below - originals will opened.
http://steedumbrella.ru/DVD_France_Studio_Canal_first_edition_2.html
Also I added general information to this DVD box's notes:
Before each episode there is a color intro "StudioCanal" company, and at the end of the episode (with the exception of the episodes Decapod and The Mauritius Penny) the logo of the film company "Weintraub Entertainment Group". _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Wow, found a rare postcard with Patrick Macnee in one French online shop. Publisher: CIBA Photochemie (Switzerland). This is the only Swiss postcard on The Avengers I've ever seen. Surprise!
In connection with this discovery, I posted a new page on Steedumbrella.
http://steedumbrella.ru/merchandise_cards_Switzerland.html
If you wish to see the original scans of this postcard on page by link above, click on the images.

I recently started work on the page of movie "Emma Peel: Meine tollsten Abenteuer mit John Steed", which was shown in cinemas not only in Germany but also in Austria.
In addition to interesting information, the page will include scans of an advertising booklet (front and back cover), a flyer, lobby cards and more...
In the process, I discovered that four b/w Emma Peel episodes were released by Ullstein AV/Foto Quelle on Super8 exactly in 1971 (it was previously mentioned in all sources that they were released in the early 1970s).

I wish a pleasant stay on this page for everyone.

Updated the page "British DVD box of b/w Emma Peel episodes (2010)":
posted the original scans of discs and covers from individual boxes, posted the original screenshots of DVD menus, and for first time, presented the scans of booklet (just click on the images).
http://steedumbrella.ru/DVD_UK_Studio_Canal_Optimum_season4.html
P.S./ In the coming days I will post the original scans for the Optimum' Series 5 and 6, as well as rescan the material that is presented on a black background (the images will presented on white background).
My further program plan is the following:
1. Work for the page of French movie, combined from two Avengers episodes.
2. Work for the Avengers episode The f50,000 Breakfast (1967).
3. Work for the page of new German DVD box of color Emma Peel episodes, due to a recent package I received from Germany. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

I report with delay that I postponed work on "British DVD box of Tara King episodes (2010)", as in this period I work for the list of performers who participated in the Avengers and who are currently alive or possibly alive. It will be posted in a couple of weeks here, I hope.
After, I get back to work on "British DVD box of Tara King episodes (2010)". _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.

Anniversary!!!! Today the site of the Steedumbrella is 10 years old!
http://steedumbrella.ru/steedumbrella_news.html
Exactly ten years ago was launched the website Steedumbrella, which initially presented copies of the Wikipedia pages (created by Denis Kirsanov) about the TV series The Avengers and its main performers, and then, over the years, expanded to a huge resource (over 1000 pages) that covers different views around the series.
The website continues to delight by regular updates and in the coming weeks will begin the publication of scans of some DVD sets of the series. In addition, new pages on DVD and Blu-Ray sets will be posted. In the future, work will continue on Avengers episode pages, and will be presented the page about a French-language movie combining of two Avengers episodes.
The Steedumbrella Fan Group thanks anyone who maintained interest in the series.

Many congrats Denis.
I have found both your website and your posts here on the forum very interesting and helpful.
I recently had a look at the Avengers comics page on your website. I had never seen English translations for the French New Avengers comic-strips, so was very pleased to see them. Plus the ultra rare Cathy Gale strips were much clearer on your site than i had ever seen them before. So thanks for the excellent work you have done and continue to do.

Many thanks for congrats, Ron.
It is very gratifying that the Internet continues to expand with supporting resources and we have these wonderful online archives (print, video and audio media), thanks to which study in the field of the subject of interest becomes available to anyone who has access to the network.
In the field of the Avengers, I am very grateful to Alan Hayes, who gave us the opportunity to hear Avengers radio episodes, extremely detailed the early period of the series, did a lot of things that are difficult to enumerate - in general, contributed to the development and popularization of the series with the help of its research and sites. Not to mention Dave Rogers, David K. Smith, Piers Johnson, Mike Richardson, Christine Stutz, Andrew Pixley, Tony Mackay, J. Ferguson, Denis Chauvet, Patrick Van de Weghe - these and other people who for many years have made a very tangible contribution to the development of the fandom.
Thanks to all of them, often I had the material to work with so that I could move on with my own research.
Well, I still have many more plans for the development of the website and do not plan to make the final stop yet. It is curious that the more you expand your own site, the more you begin to believe that there is no end to it. I can say with confidence that the Steedumbrella can be closed only if some circumstances on the part affect this decision (my state of health, life problems, etc.), but I don’t see a way that I will close it because posted every thing I planned or because the series will be extremely low relevant. As long as there is at least one relevant resource on any subject, there will always be a group of fans around. I am interested in the life of Avengerland and I (as I am sure some others) will continue as long as we can.
As for English translations for the French New Avengers comic, thanks to good friend J. Ferguson, who posted them on own website ANEW, and gave me the opportunity to submit them to Steedumbrella.
https://avengersanew.com/comics.html
As for much clearer ultra rare Cathy Gale strips, thanks to Alan Hayes.
I also have some stories from TV Comic that I haven't posted yet. Nevertheless, at a certain point, I paused with this section, since it is possible that Patrick van de Weghé will present them in his own time on his website PURRR. We'll see.

I will soon be back to work on Steedumbrella after I publish on this forum the list of performers who participated in the Avengers and who are currently alive or possibly alive. I was planning to post it before the anniversary of Steedumbrella, but I forced to be distracted by other matters related to my health (nothing serious), I hope to finish it early next week now. _________________ Russian fan-site Steedumbrella.
