I found this caption in Look-in Holiday Special magazine 1971, page 28 – below a B/W photo of Diana in a short patterned outfit in front of a tree.
Diana Rigg, swinging action-girl of The Avengers and a recent James Bond film, really likes to get away from her glamorous image when she goes on holiday.
She jets out to a little vila hidden away on a hilltop ten miles from Santa Eulalia , on the north east coast of Ibiza. It’s right off the beaten track, five miles climb up a twisting goat path that few taxi drivers will tackle. Diana has a Mini-moke for the trip.
The villa has no electricity, only oil lamps; no water mains – it is delivered in huge bottles – and no telephone. Diana’s only contact with ‘civilisation’ is the owner of a small bodega in Santa Eulalia, which she visits a couple of times a week to pick up the mail and British newspapers.
But she has a private beach, which is ideal for parties and midnight bathing. And there is an abundance of fresh figs, oranges and olives from Diana’s villa garden, and huge meals of local prawns and squids. And dancing to a battery-operated cassette player.
“It suits me excellently,” said Diana. “I don’t bother about hairdos, make-up and rarely wear anything smarter than a bikini and old jeans”.

You got me confused for a second there Ron! Just for clarity, it is from 1972 (I'm pretty sure Look-in didn't do a "Holiday Special" in 1971, I've certainly never seen one).
Here's a larger image. A good find, thanks for posting.

Wow, wonderful pic with Diana. As always, good taste for clothes reminds me of her wardrobe that she wore when she lived in Spain. Many thanks, Ian. _________________ Denis |

Among Dame Diana's publicity and press items at imdb is listed the following "gem":
Partner (US) June 1982, Vol. 4, Iss. 1, pg. 9, by: staff, "Diana Rigg's Tit Tease"
This turns out to be a girlie mag! Copies are available on Amazon so I will be interested to know what it's about (presumably some paparazzi style rubbish).

Brilliant. They say people who swear are more truthful. I don't know if they're fucking right but I'll bet they're not hypocritical moralists. _________________ Mrs Peel, you're needed!

Rachel Stirling and her husband, Guy Garvey, share about Diana Riggs final days - a lot of joy and humour.
6:10 is when the conversation is about Rigg. |
