Ooh Rachael Stirling is in one of the Dr Whos! Can they get her for an Avengers?

Nice to know these sets are continuing, however I'm not really a fan of O'Grady and Nigel Fairs writing tends to be ridiculously convoluted and thus difficult to follow. |

Yes, it's good they're continuing. I really like the fact that they're alternating volumes between Steed's adventures with Mrs Peel and Tara King. Although I'd really love them to do a volume with Mrs Gale! _________________ Old account paulpdjh |

Seems odd that they haven't done Mrs. Gale adventures. Beth Charmers was spot on as Cathy. After all there are Gale comic strips and even a novel. |

Were there any Cathy Gale annuals?
As far as I'm aware they don't have a licence to do original stories only adaptations. |

No annuals, but 1960's comic strips and a novel, yes. |

There are some absolutely crazy Tara-era comic strips from TV Comic. They should be good fun! _________________ Last watched: "The Medicine Men" |

I'm really enjoying the Big Finish releases. It's great how they've taken comic strips of 6 or so pages and turned them into full episodes which wouldn't be out of place in the TV series.
I've also just realised that, with the release of this volume, there are now 26 episodes in the comic strip adaptations range - the same number as the lost episodes range. _________________ Old account paulpdjh |

It's like a whole extra season of The Avengers to enjoy! (Well, two extra seasons if we include all the Season 1 missing episodes that Big Finish have recreated.)
This week, I have been trying to figure out how to put a Big Finish episode on my phone in order to listen to it when "out and about", working in the kitchen, or in bed instead of reading before sleep. I have most of the Season 1 "missing episodes" as downloads, on my Big Finish account, but when I try to download them from their website onto my phone I only get the picture of the cover art in the folder, not the mp3 or mb4 (or whatever it is) audio file.
If I could get them via my phone, then I'd buy the comic strip ones. I still have "Too Many Targets" that I haven't listened to yet, on physical CD and download. It will be a pain if I could only hear it sat at my desktop PC. My old MP3 player died and I use Spotify for music on my new phone.
If Big Finish streamed my purchases from their site, or even on Spotify or the like, it would be much more convenient. And they would increase sales, at least to me! _________________ Last watched: "The Medicine Men" |

I've found out there is a Big finish app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hughesmedia.big_finish&hl=en_GB&gl=US&pli=1). So I've now got the app and downloaded my Avengers Lost Episodes, seems to work! Oh dear, I'm about to start spending again... _________________ Last watched: "The Medicine Men" |
