To my own surprise I found this video. An Avengers spoof, probably for some awards ceremony. But does anyone know any more about this? |

First I've seen of it.
I like the pastiche of the theme tune, and how it's carefully played to have all the elements of the familiar tune, but different enough to avoid copyright infringement. _________________

It's actually quite well done!
I wish there were some fan-made films of the Avengers. |

Rather well done, though casting could have been somewhat more appropriate, particularly for Steed. Good production values - a very nice little novelty. _________________ Alan

'Mrs Peel' looked alright until she opened her mouth. Why do they always seem to cast a fatty for Steed in these type of things! _________________

I liked it, although the voices are a bit jarring. I want the woman's wardrobe, though. _________________ Last Watched: Who Was That Man I Saw You With?

The Steed was not half-bad. He may have been a a little on the heavy-side, but the actor did have the height and the cleft chin. Pat could play the part heavy, because he always had those wonderful broad shoulders, so he always tapered at the hips. There's nothing worse than a man with a big bum.

Actually, looking at it again, the actor playing Steed isn't that heavy. He's just has a round face and a double chin - and we all know Patrick suffered with a bit of weight gain. Thank goodness for the amphetamines!
<PICKY> His voice is a bit nerdy though and he does look a bit 'Oliver Hardy' in some scenes. Nice car (decent approximation: sporty, blue) - but did Steed travel in Mrs Peel's car often? Unintentionally funny that they got them to run everywhere side by side like Batman & Robin! </PICKY> _________________

I recognise the sound-a-like music, it's from one of the production music libraries.
A nicely shot feature.
The guy playing Steed reminds me of one of the filmed series stuntmen. |
