I don't want to be repetitive so I'll skip the detailing of the Cyberman head construction as it's exactly the same procedure I used for the Winged Avenger head. It's simply a sculpted head built up from thick corrugated card which is then covered and shaped using thinner card (old cereal packets) and parcel tape, then layered in Fibre glass matting and resin. Once cured it's filled with water until the card turns to pulp and removed. And here he is drying in the afternoon sun ..

You make it look so easy to make these items, although I don't think for a second I could do this. Any chance of adding the trilby? |

I bet you could, have you tried ?
Ha ! I made the trilby over the weekend Mike but at the moment the paint on the top of the head is too wet to add it. Later today I hope

Having regretted parting with my original set of replica Cybernaut computer cards I fortuitously found I still had all the patterns for them on my PC yesterday, I was able to create this new set from 2mm acrylic this morning to complete my Cybernaut display
Water slide transfers ..
With all the pieces cut and printed they just need assembling.
Finished.

OK this is simply brilliant! If only we could go back in time and make you the head of prop design on TA. _________________ "He likes his tea stirred anti-clockwise." |

Thanks
I'm putting together a matching New Avengers 'Last of the Cybernauts ?' display at the moment with the redesigned Cybernaut mask, Plastic Skin aerosol can and Purdeys blue and pink pistol. |

Er,,,, OK, I admit it, standing at 6'2" (without his hat) I found him a trifle unnerving !
If anyone wants to borrow him for set dressing at the 2017 Dead Man's Treasure hunt then they are more than welcome.

Ian
I'll mention your offer to Chris Bentley, unless Geoff has already pointed this out.
Further to which, it would also be nice to have you attending the Treasure Hunt event.

Please do Mike, I should have a complete 'Winged Avenger' by next year too. As for attending, for some reason it's not something that's ever interested me, even at the height of my passion for the show. |
